Persistent Guy's Training Log Continues

1x5: deadlift 199 kg
1x3: deadlift 209 kg
1x1: deadlift 229 kg
2x20: db floor press 42 kg
3x12: curl 33 kg

Got home late today, but got time to do something very quick.

5x1: front squat 129 kg

10x3: front squat 101 kg
3x3, 5x2: military press 71 kg
2x3, 6x2: pullup 16 kg

And a song in a totally different style that I made together with an English producer. He did 95% of the work, heh.

1x5: deadlift 199 kg
1x3: deadlift 209 kg
1x1: deadlift 231 kg
2x20: db floor press 42 kg
3x12: straight bar curl 33 kg

Another quick post-rehearsal training session. Now I got things to do in the evenings tomorrow, Sunday, Tuesday or Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday next week. Eeeek.

5x1: front squat 129 kg

10x3: front squat 103 kg
4x3, 4x2: military press 71 kg
1x4, 3x3, 2x2: pullup 16 kg

1x5: deadlift 199 kg
1x4: deadlift 209 kg
1x1: deadlift 229 kg
3x12: pullup
2x20: db floor press 42 kg

Left bicep feels tight on pretty much anything involving pulling. Bleh. And on a brighter note, here’s a song I finished last week:

5x1: front squat 131 kg
5x3, 3x2: military press 71 kg
4x3, 4x2: pullup 16 kg

10x3: front squat 103 kg
2x20: db floor press 42 kg
3x12: straight bar curl 33 kg (done with reverse grip for second and third set, that seems easier on my left arm)

Lifted yesterday, but since this week’s gonna be busy I did a short session today just to keep tomorrow evening free in case I need that.

1x2: deadlift 189 kg
1x2: deadlift 199 kg
1x2: deadlift 209 kg
1x1: deadlift 219 kg
1x2: deadlift 229 kg

Did not feel too bad, even after squatting yesterday. Only got a single on one set because I got a poor grip with one hand and didn’t want to risk dropping the bar. Left bicep felt a bit tight but generally OK too.

5x1: front squat 131 kg
6x3, 2x2: military press 71 kg
8x3: pullup 16 kg

Squatted yesterday, had a rehearsal after work this evening, but the weekend looks even worse with another rehearsal, a gig Saturday which should finish around 3 AM, and then another gig Sunday morning. So, let’s do something quick.

10x3: front squat 103 kg

Oddest log of this site, good job.

Hahaha, thanks. I guess it is pretty odd even if it’s all basic lifts.

Today, then:

1x2: deadlift 189 kg
1x2: deadlift 199 kg
1x2: deadlift 209 kg
1x2: deadlift 219 kg
1x1: deadlift 229 kg
2x20: db floor press 42 kg
3x12: straight bar curl 35 kg (reverse grip)

Might take next week off.

And just to keep things odd, here’s a song sung by a singing robot.

5x1: front squat 131 kg
8x3: military press 71 kg
1x6, 6x2: pullup 10 kg

And to keep the oddness going, a happy hardcore track with a death metal girl on vocals.

10x3: front squat 105 kg

Another quick session after getting home late. Nothing wakes you up like a set of squats every 60 seconds.

And another decidedly odd song.

1x2: deadlift 189 kg
1x2: deadlift 199 kg
1x2: deadlift 209 kg
1x2: deadlift 219 kg
1x2: deadlift 229 kg
2x20: db floor press 42 kg
3x12: straight bar curl 35 kg (reverse grip)

And a song from a really obscura 80s sci-fi movie.

5x1: front squat 131 kg
2x10: front squat 89 kg
1x3, 7x2: military press 73 kg
3x3, 5x2: pullup 10 kg

And why not…

Corporate Christmas party season is over, so no rehearsal tonight and I got home at a normal hour, but I was pretty tired after the team dinner Tuesday and our office party Thursday. Drinking, staying up late, dancing and hauling drum kit pieces… So, I took a nap after work and then did what’s become the usual quick Friday training session. Just added a bit of weight.

10x3: front squat 105 kg

Also finishing up a new song for the singer’s birthday tomorrow, but it’s not ready yet, so here’s a slightly earlier one.

1x2: deadlift 189 kg
1x2: deadlift 199 kg
1x2: deadlift 209 kg
1x2: deadlift 219 kg
1x1: deadlift 229 kg
2x20: db floor press 42 kg
3x12: pullup

And a new song finished yesterday! Produced together with a guy from Swaziland for the singer’s birthday yesterday.
