Last squat set at the bottom of the sixth rep my right calf tightens up, but feels totally fine once I stand up, so I quickly decide to finish the set. Felt totally fine the rest of the way. Just one of those weird moments, but one thing’s for sure, with Zerchers you don’t want to stand there at the top for like 30 seconds and ponder things.

Gonna try going very light and high reps on the big lifts for a bit. Physically I feel fine, especially after taking a few days off around Christmas, but I’ve totally gotten inside my own head and started overthinking things, so now if anything on the first rep feels even slightly off I overreact, slow things down, and tire myself out prematurely. Going really light I can keep good form and be pleasantly surprised that I can do a few more reps than I would have guessed.
