Doing pause deads not snatch grip to let the left thumb heal properly, and also left shoulder’s kinda sore and sticking my arms far out like that on deads seems harder on shoulders, too.

3x12: Zercher squat 109 kg

1x5: military press 75 kg
1x6: military press 69 kg
1x10: military press 59 kg
1x14: military press 49 kg

Also got a large lamb this morning - a bit over 20 kilos. Here’s one of its forequarters, with the neck.

Supposed to be a day off today but I’d rather lift today and have Good Friday off. I’ve lifted on Good Friday and Ash Wednesday before with no real problems or even diminished performance, but this just feels easier than thinking about whether I’m eating too little.

First power clean rep somehow went weird and I almost lost my balance, but after that all went fine. Huh.

Something felt off on the heavier presses… not strength but like either stability or concentration.

Again no blood, which is good. Right knee still feels a bit funny, though, so I did high pulls instead of power cleans.
