Permanent Gains from 6 Month Low Dose Cycle?

I was subtly getting to that point, but my guess is the OP has a fear of losing abs that’s significantly holding him back, which is why I suggested that he posts everything up in detail.

This was my point too.

He said he was 1400ng in 2019. Let’s say he’s 1200 now; normal day he finishes at 1000ng (per the study).

If he does 100-150mg and gets his levels to a consistent 750ng, has he really benefited at all?

If he gets to 1400ng on that dose, and it’s stable, then he’s going to have an advantage.

Only way to know is to try; but he won’t know what 100-150mg gets him until he’s done it.

Or, he could take 300-500mg as suggested and be assured that his TT will be higher than natural

If your total test was high your free test could be low because of high SHBG and e2. According to emeric, 10mg per day might be good because there is less hpta shutdown. You can then stop with a taper.

Now that’s likely, especially considering how rapidly it came on. Despite what exactly I filled up with, it ruined any semblance of leanness or definition I have around my abs. That was a red flag to me, but is what you’re suggesting that my only option is to continue to push through that regardless?

I agree, I think I may make a more detailed post in the coming days, just didn’t want to inundate with details here. Also, I’m sure it wasn’t all pure adipose tissue, but regardless of what I filled up with it ruined any semblance of definition in my core and I saw that as a red flag. Do you think I was wrong? I also didn’t get any stronger btw, like at all, no matter how hard I pushed. I’m getting stronger again now fortunately, slowly but surely, which is funny considering I’ve lowered calories quite a bit to lean out.

Yeah my free test wasn’t that high on the 1450ng/dl test. Free test came out to 22.6 ng/dl and shbg came out to a whopping 73nmol/L. I know that boron is supposed to lower high SHBG but I don’t know if it’s safe to to take that long term.

A separate thread with as much detail as possible would be good, I’d hazard a guess that you were only just starting to eat enough of a surplus to start gaining and your body held more water (and maybe some fat).

I wouldn’t panic in that situation but hold where you are for a couple more weeks and see how it pans out. You do have to accept some non-lean gains in the short term, not talking getting super fat but generally if you’ve got very well defined abs (presuming you do if you’re an actual 10%bf) then you will have to accept that’s not going to be the case at the end of the bulk. Otherwise you will accept an artificial plateau created by not eating sufficiently to build and recover.

Be interested to see a full layout of training as well, training needs to be on point to make use of a surplus.
