Peri-Workout Nutrition

I’ve been a long time lurker of the TNation forums. The information here has allowed me to go from 6’3 265>180 in a healthy and sustainable manner. I’ve learned nutritional habits that will last me for the rest of my life. I am just starting S.S. I am 25 y.o and 10-13% bf depending on which set of calipers/scale you believe. I am consuming around 3500 kcal per day.

Unfortunately I have not been able to glean a proper peri-workout protocol from the forums. There seems to be a lot of conflicting ideas or vague suggestions. My first half of a training day looks like this:

700 am- 1 whey scoop+1 serving fruit

800 am- 3 eggs, 1 oz cheese, veggies, steel cut oats

900 am w/o- 1 serving Surge Recovery

pwo- 1 serving Surge Recovery

pwo+60- 1 serving Metabolic Drive+ 1 fruit

pwo+90- P+C

I’ve tried to synthesize what I’ve read from Mr. Barr, Berardi and CT. Am I on the right track?
