Performance Enhancing Pathways to Gain Energy & Save Hair?

To answer the question in the thread title, the most effective way when we consider results is Test and a 5AR inhibitor (finasteride or dutasteride). Those drugs work, they are FDA approved for treating male pattern baldness (well, finasteride is, dutasteride is approved in other countries and is the more potent drug). Most guys can run a lot of Test with dutasteride and not see much progression of hair loss.

Now, doing cycles while only doing push ups and pullups is, well, stupid. You will get the negatives, with very few positives. Despite what you can read on the internet about gaining just from taking more test (comes from a study that was poorly conducted and misinterpreted by many who don’t understand how steroids work), it doesn’t really work that way.

If you need TRT (which you likely don’t), the dose is too high. Many people have less energy at cycle levels than they do at doses that bring them to high normal, or slightly outside of it. I’d recommend you start again with something like 125 mg/wk based on how you responded to the 100 mg/wk.

Sound like a troll to me, so this would be my last reply :
This thread checks all items of an OP in need of :

  • Psychiatric help : signs of depression, PD
  • Medical advice : Talk to your doc, ask him if you really need that. Consult another doc without manipulating him into prescribing.

Good luck!

Thanks everyone for replies I appreciate it.

I’m definitely joining gym as I was training outside so far and it gets cold I don’t wanna get sick. I also have a problem with that, trying to combat with bunch of vitamin C and dressing warmer. Also I feel like quitting coffee helped as it was making me cold and eating less. I have bunch of allergies that don’t help I’ll have to see a doctor about that.

I definitely do need to up the calories - I have box diet for 3000 a day but truth is I don’t eat all the boxes.

When it comes to hair I’ve noticed mk helps. Also microneedling and oral castor oil. If that won’t be sufficient I’ll go for topical finaseride/RU and minoxidil.

Any recommendations on a gym program for a beginner? I like compound exercises and functional training. The goal is lean bulk untill spring. How can I prevent injuries?

5/3/1 is a good option IMO.

Experience helps here. Don’t do stupid stuff. Knowing what is stupid is where the experience helps. I’ve had to deal with things for longer than necessary because I was stubborn. If something doesn’t feel right, don’t push it. There are many options of productive exercises in the gym. If one is causing issues do something else, or at least change your approach to that exercise. Maybe cut volume, or weight lifted, or technique.

After checking out 5/3/1 it sounds like a good option to me especially cause the assistance training involves the exercises I already do so it seems like a natural progression. Thanks a lot.

Deadlifts are the king of workouts and is a better indicator of overall strength.

Do warm up sets.
Phraks Greyskull LP until your weights plateau, then start undulating volume and weights using something like 531.

531 is great, just too slow of progress for beginners IMO.
