Originally supposed to do 5 sets but the lower back was still super fatigued from last week. So we cut out 2 sets. Load was okay but the back pump was insane. Should have warmed up better before the dumbbells, which got that going actually.

Not too be to melodramatic but today felt like one of those make or break points in training. Great opportunity to make it and it feels good to do so! (Well in all honesty it was close to 4 hour workout with setting up and putting away in 34°C after a full work day and I infact feel not great afterwards… but accomplished )
what are you doing for callus management, you seem to have torn a few of these lately ?

I was spent after this week. At work I was dizzy, unfocused and ready to just fall asleep standing. Very exhausted. But because of timing I only had 20 minutes to lay on the sofa before I had to train.
Not gonna lie, I loathed the thought of having to train.
Also at this point it would be quicker to list what doesn’t hurt.

I hate myself for giving up here because at the next comp grit will be the absolute decisive factor… but I just had nothing left anymore. I dropped after 20 m because my biceps was hurting, my SIJ was hurting and I had nothing left. I was supposed to do 2 sets of 30 m but I was just empty at this point.
This concludes my last heavy session. I am proud of the work I put in and I hope I can show that next weekend.
You made a smart decision. Don’t risk further injury to finish a workout. Recover hard and comeback stronger!!
