I may be getting to old for the double effort, haha (look who I’m talking to). My right hand and wrist have been in considerable pain since last week’s tennis and are currently held together by wraps and bandages for both sports.
It’s good fun though. Today my endurance got pushed pretty far tbh. My 16 year olf, 75 kg (guess) opponent for the single was surprisingly a bit fitter than my fat arse.

Everything kinda hurts and is sore.
Didn’t sleep well (I mean I usually don’t but I mention it from time to time) and at work today it was kinda weird… I had some stomach and digestion issues and was sweating like I was on trial for murder. I hope I’m not coming down with something but let’s not think that way so close to comp.
Fueled my workout with delicious marzipan cake and we’ll go out for dinner tonight - burgers. Just small celebrations since everyone that would usually attend has died over the last 3 years. Sat down with my parents, sister and one of my best friens who joined spontaneously for the cake and workout.

Notes:
- Very smooth technique throughout, some were a little snappier than others but great session.
- I’m currently doing mobility exercises for my t-spine on a daily basis.
Ate a burger with 570g angus beef, cheese, bacon, onion ring and wedges for sides. Probably PR. Pretty much RPE 10.

Work was insane today. Digestion was better again. Luckily had at least a bit of a nap before training because I was REALLY tired and depleted after a a couple of too short nights.

Notes:
- this concludes my prep for Saturday. This last workout felt very good. Now just mobility and recovery and then it’s go time.
- log was very snappy. Only the last one wasn’t quite as good. Really the problem with heavy weights (100+) is solely in my head. I need to get my fucking head clear, block out the fear and jump under that freaking thing instead of switching to a push press last second.
