program asked for 5x9 on farmer’s as always but today I trained at the famcy gym and had an 18m lane, so I figured I should take advantage of that. Grip was kinda okay but speed not there. Legs were jello.
I see why zerchers are done in absence of stones or sandbags. Still hate it with a passion. Despite the small rom.
today was the appointment with the endo. That was quite pleasent for a change. But of course I will have to wait 4 to 6 weeks until I get results.
@dagill2 yeah naps can do a lot for you. Hopefully you find an hour here and there yourself.
Now that I don’t have as many doctor’s appointments (today and Wednesday are the last ones for now) and I’m starting to cope better with the whole situation, I expect stress levels to decrease and well being to increase at least some.
Had a bad showing at our tennis match yesterday. I’m all kinds of sore today (more from last week than tennis of course, haha).
Received my deload program and it is a very gentle deload (or agressive?). Only three days of training. Huge reduction in volume and weight.
Really excited for what comes after that.
Today I find myself with some free timr, so I’ll go for a light walk in the forest and before my shift, I’ll swim some laps and have a go in the sauna.
Haha you’re thinking about the listed activities in different terms than I. They all aim at relaxation/ calming me down and recharging me.
I enjoy being surrounded by nothing but nature - taking walks.
I like the feel of water on my skin - swimming.
The sauna is one of the most relaxing things there is for me + it helps my sleep.
Nothing is done strenous. I walk so incredibly slow, that people frequently ask me about that (like co workers). I swim super slow (because I suck at it and I stop before I’m out of breath.
