Do you have a log as well? You seem like a funny hamster, I’d like to take a look
Yeh I got a log on here. I’m a guinea pig I guess a rather large one but a midget compared to you lol.
These days I’m dabbling in powerlifting and always trying to get bigger/fatter/stronger. When this corona virus thing blows over I’d like to do my first meet.
I’ve been running around putting together a home gym past few weeks because my gym closed up. Got enough equipment now to continue to progress but it hurt my bank account.
I’d like to hit a three plate bench. I’m pretty close hit 135kg a few weeks ago.
During this CoronaGains period would also like to take advantage of an extra cheaty whippy set up with big plates to pull around 270kg.
Squats wise I’d like to crack 200kg and then ply around and see how much I can do in knee wraps. I was injured my back last year and was out a while like 6 months and have been building back up successfully but squat is the slowest lift to come back I think because muscle hasn’t fully grown back to pre injury size.
I loved your summary, especially the last bit about training in the cheese factory. Quality ![]()
Thanks for the fill in, I’ll follow along! Strong ass deadlifting. Pretty jealous of that tbh.
@simo74 yeah I like to mention that for the extra “wtf… weirdo” moment, you know? ![]()
Sumo is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural
So it is cheating after all! ![]()
Didn’t realise we were the same height; always thought you were a few cm shorter. Makes me sad to be moving down from ~110kg.
Until a few weeks ago I always assumed I was a little bit shorter myself and always said so on here. Then I remeasured and realized that I have either been growing the last few years or so or I was wrong all along.
Although I am 25, it’s not completely impossible that I have actually grown in my early twenties.
During chemotherapy my growth was surpressed and the doctors said it might be possible that the growth I would have experienced in that period is postponed to later. Or just doesn’t happen at all (damn, I could have been a giant, lol!)
I grew an inch in my early twenties so it’s definitely possible.
All the lifting might have helped your posture as well and given you a bit of a boost.
Thank you for giving me hope. I’ve been growing horizontally mostly lol
Well just stand up, dude.
12.04.
1 Push Press
6 x 5 @ 115 kg
2 heavy hold/ unrack + walk out

3 unilateral db press (w fat gripz)
3 x 10 @ 25 kg
4 seated row (wide grip)
5 x 10
5a biceps curls
4 x 10
5b face pulls
4 x 15
Notes:
- man I’d love some jerk blocks. My collar bones don’t look healthy
. Getting the bar back to my shoulders from overhead is far worse than pressing it there. Not exactly easy on the upper back either. I won’t even start about biceps and elbows. - the first set felt like I was good for ten reps, not even exagerrating. But witht this many sets, fatigue sets in and it gets harder. 2-3 more weeks of this, than I’ll start doing top sets.
- I really like the db presses. You can feel all your stabilizers work and can play close attention to your scapula movement. The focus is to resist lateral flexion and spinal extension. I do these strict, no equipment and controlled eccentric.
- skipped push ups. Need to be careful with not doing more than I can recover from.
Ur video got copyrighted u criminal.
Is almost a jerk no?
Probably. Definitely a double dip. I just call it overhead press myself and label it push press so that people don’t lose it over me using leg drive, haha.
I use whatever is most efficient for me.
Cheating
Need to work around the fact that I can’t cheat on deadlifts by pulling sumo
Fair
Jerk blocks aren’t terribly difficult to build. If you can get some 24 mm plywood sheets cut to size for you, all you need to do is fix them together. I could probably draw one up and write a cutting list if you want.
