I’ve been trying peptides to heal an injury and a little bit for anti aging. Through general research on the net and asking around I found a protocol but i’m thinking it’s too much for my body or maybe i’m doing something wrong.
I’m 41, 6’8 245lbs low 20% body fat. I train maybe 3 times a week mostly calistetics and cardio ( i do kickboxing and body weight exercises)
On the Peptide front I’ve been using
AM
Ipamorelin 250-300mcg
bpc157 500mcg
EOD AM - TB500 2.5mg
Thoughts? I can tell im getting leaner and sleeping more/better but WAY too much. I slept 14 hours yesterday and another 12 today and I woke up knowing something is kinda out of whack so i came on here to get some advice. I’ve been on this regimine for about 6 weeks and the past week have really noticed that I’m overly tired lethargic sleepy and sleeping more with very low motivation.
Side note i’ve also been really low carb doing basically a paleo/keto carnivore style of diet with my daily carbs sub 60 for almost 4 weeks as well. Overall i’ve dropped about 15 lbs and what seems to be a few points of body fat. But i can’t be this tired and sleepy all the time i have a family and work i need to be doing/spending time with.
Prob this. When i go super low carb i get very lethargic and could pretty much sleep anytime.
Also when i was taking Ipamorelin with tessamorelin i would take both at night at about 150mgc each if i recall. It was a blend and i took 300mgc total.
I’m still eating like a horse overall about 3400 calories a day in-between two really large meals.
I noticed as soon as I started taking the ipamorelin the deepness of my sleep almost doubled. I used to get about 5 broken hours over an 8 hour period now I can sleep 7 to 8 hours all the way through.
As soon as I started to mix in the tessamorelin with the ipamorelin I noticed this lethargy. I think the tessamorelin is the better of the two so I’m going to cut that out unless anyone has a good suggestion or protocol.
I also completely stopped smoking/eating weed for my chronic pain (2 herniated discs). The bpc and tb has done wonders (at least I think that’s what did it) and life’s been a little different without daily weed.
Who knows I’m just trying to be as healthy as I can for my personal health and a strong active energetic father for my kids and wife. I really don’t want to be that broken down dad that can’t keep up with his kids so I’m willing to do or try almost anything to keep myself from being just that.
Same. They do make some people very sleepy and also possibly hungry which could be counterintuitive to your nutrition plan. Take it right before bed. Also, have you taken labs to see how effective the peptides even are? They didn’t do shit for me.
