I was speaking with my doctor today about certain peptides and other things that can help me along with my TRT journey. Along with potential for thyroid in helping shed the extra weight im holding I had spoken about peptides people have added to assist in weight management and building athleticism. From there he talked on certain injectibles to get rid of the extra weight but still I am curious about it my knowledge is incomplete on the matter.
How useful and impactful have peptides for either muscle gain or weight loss been for any of you all? Was it something truly life changing in a way? I am curious to know.
I have lost some fat and gained some muscle, with sermorelin/GHRP2/GHRP6. I’m quite a bit leaner, evidenced by some new found veins. Best part is improved sleeping and decreased joint pain.
Sleep, immediately. Joints, maybe three to four weeks. Fat loss, not sure, maybe about the same. For some, it takes three to four months to get the full benefit.
Hi vithat, may I ask how old are you? The reason I ask is some doc believe Sermorelin does not help IGF-1 if you are in your 60’s. Ipamorelin is a better choice.
I have taken 1000mcg Sermorelin + 500mcg Ipamorelin daily for over 6 months. I am currently trying just 500mcg Ipamorelin to see if there is a difference. The results of my first 6 months was my IGF-1 went from 100 to 140. That is a pretty big jump but only gets me to the middle of the range. I have heard 200 is optimum.
Aesthetically I have a lot more vascularity in my arms and legs. But I am unsure if peptides or running on the high side of TRT lvls or my NO stack is the reason. I could probably safely say peptides are very subtle. I was at ~15% BF and now I am ~12% so no big change there. If you are obese it might help more.
I also noticed improvements to my skin. I have had cronic seborrheic dermatitis in my scalp for years requiring script shampoo . It is now gone.
I do sleep much better now however it was not right away more like 6wks to 2 months of daily injections.
hth
Curious why everyone here are choosing to take peptides in stead of growth hormone? Is it because of the high price of GH or are there any other benefits that come within these peptides?
Yeah im 22. Im looking more for something that will kickstart athleticism and muscle gain and help me shed this extra layer of fat (Which I theorize might be a thyroid thing) but I am a bit afraid of ruining my body. If I can get vascularity too thatd be awesome lol.
I do not want a supraphysiological effect. Sermorelin stimulates the pituitary to make hGH, but it is my understanding that it will only make what it is naturally capable of making. I would not want the hGH gut, or facial bone growth, like Sylvester Stallone, or trash my pancreas. I suppose one could just take a small dose, but the other approach seems better. Plus, there are legal issues to obtaining hGH.
hi danny, These peptides stimulate your body to make more natural GH. Taking a syn GH will shut your natural production down. The scary part is if you shut your natural production down will it come back?
Peptides like sermorelin might help but I don’t think they will give you overnight results. My doc said we don’t even start asking questions about how it is going until 3 months pass. Do your research some peptide have some nasty side effect. Sermorelin and Ipamorelin are considered two of the safest.
you might look into a good nitric oxide stack for vascularity.
This site might sell a NO stack I’d look into that.
Mine is homemade and pretty expensive it also has two prescription drugs in it as well.
2.5mg tadadel get mine from india
1mg doxagard get mine from india
2G L-tyrosine
4G Beta Alanine
6G L-citrulline
3G L-arginine
1G Vit C
100mg caffeine any brand
Mixed in your favorite PowerAid drink. Drink 1/2 on way to gym 1/2 while working out.
This sites management frowns on posting sources so you will just have to google peptides it pretty easy to find data just remember many site who sell peptides post articles. good luck
Make sense but from what I have read low dose GH seems to be safe and should not cause those side effects. I am going to do some more research, but may well switch over to Sermorelin to be on the safe side. You guys seems to be seeing positive results, which is great.
That would be very scary but I very much doubt very low dose (1-2 iu day) GH would shut down your natural production. Still there’s always a risk so you never know. Bottom line is I don’t want to fuck myself up any more than I am now, so better to be safe than sorry (;
Talked with the pharmacy and as it turns, doc gave me Ipemorelin. Pretty interested to try but the you guys saying the change is negligible kinda makes me apprehensive about it especially as it has a 125 price tag . He also gave me Lipo-b injections too. What kind of benefit do you guys see with the increased healing peptides like BPC? Is it for endurance or muscle recovery?
How long have you been on TRT? How much weight are we talking? How many years have you worked out?
It took me 2 years of TRT plus 5 days a week in the gym to really see results worth taking your shirt of for.
Since April I was doing Clomid before switching to 200mg/ml vials with 1ml injections a week maybe late June? So maybe a little over 2 months. Maybe 2 and a half months. As for working out I also dont really quite know what the exact time is for that either. I started last January very infrequently but didnt get serious until maybe last August. So Im gonna say a little over a year.
Im happy about the progress so far but it does sit uncomfortable to not know if its working or not.
You really need to give the TRT some more time to do its thing and try to be regular at the gym
3 times a week should do it. Your motabilizum should start increasing the longer your T lvl is at a therapeutic level. This should help you burn fat even while you sleep but you need to stay away from Carbonated drinks and frenchfried that kind of junk.
Honestly I don’t think you need a peptide yet. See where the TRT take you. Best of luck.
