And at 6:36 she starts hating on the good people of East Germany! WTF[/quote]
I always find it hilarious that people still revert to the old “east vs. west” mentality in this day and age.
She’s apparently a recurring guest when it comes to topics like BBing.

Havent the easterners suffered enough?
Btw,Carnage do you find that most people you encounter feel the same way about BB? Do they also hate East Germans?

Hm. Middle aged and older people, when angry or discussing politics (cough Dad cough) tend to revert to the “ugh, it’s them wessies/ossies stealin’ our money” or whatever type of BS argument.
Not something I take too seriously and nothing that’s ever been leveled at me.
As for BBing… I just tell people I’m an Oly lifter if they ask.
Most here do not know what BBing is though. Seriously, as in, they have no clue it exists (or maybe they’ve heard/read about it but it didn’t really register).
(we’re talking rural eastern Germany though, the big cities may be different)
Some snarky comments from my neighbor on occasion (a cycling fanatic), to which I point out that my knees are still fine, thank you, how are your menisci? Missing? My condolences.
In general, I surround myself with people who aren’t complete idiots. That pretty much means no annoying comments.

Haha,I hear you. My friend is also a cycling fanatic and he cant wrap his head around what we do. He always presents the argument “Why would anybody be that big? Its so impractical” Which i reply “Would would anybody ride a bike 50 miles a day? Its impractical because we live in a sprawling city and we have cars” Is it really hard for other people to accept that everybody else has different taste and interest?
