The DSA are wolves in sheep’s clothing. Maybe some of their rank and file are okay but the leadership are a bunch of out of touch fucktards and do-nothings! They state one thing and then do nothing about it. Reminds me of the so-called progressive Squad. FOH!!!
Oh, I’ll take the bait on that one. First a definition, straight from wokeapedia.
Now, an example of the behavior from a Party Member, straight from LEWISTON, MAINE. Link goes right to the struggle session.
On planet Earth. For research purposes, there are unlimited free documentaries available online. You just have to be 18 to review them.
The dogs are socialist so they have free room service and gender-affirming therapy.
So why ask if you already know, Andy?
Thank you, illegals and Obama.
That’s a good question, castoli.
I’m sure he’ll appreciate that.
Therein lies the beauty of fly fishing. Not the serene spring fed mountain creeks, the sounds of nature or the exhilaration of a hard strike.
Its using our entire frontal lobe to outsmart a creature with a brain the size of a booger. And failing.
This is my new hobby. I grew up fishing the gulf coast. Wade fishing the surf, bay fishing and deep sea plus a little inland fishing for catfish primarily.
Moved further in to spring fed, limestone bottom rivers and could not catch a thing. Totally different game. So a buddy and I went out with fly guide and cleaned up. I’ve been re-learning how to fish ever since. And the coolest part is that I’ve never had a shark or alligator take my catch.
It is a lot of fun. Reading the patterns, matching them, coming up with something goofy that works for no good reason.
I was practicing tying para-loops with some ginger hackle that was basically throw away stuff, and twisting dubbing on to the thread to make a body.
Then I took them out and gave one a few drifts to see how they float. That pattern got absolutely crushed. Literally ripped to pieces by the end of the day.
A friend of mine makes these rubber legged yellow foam bugs. Nothing to them, and they look like a 5 year old made them. Walley go out of their way to attack them. I’ve watched them swim like 10-15 feet out of their lie to bite.
.
I haven’t gotten in to the finer points of fly selection or making them but will eventually. We primarily have various bass, sunfish species and Texas will stock rainbow trout in the winter. Where I live, a deep lake’s output feeds a river at about 70 degrees Fahrenheit and it stays that way year round for about 3 miles so the trout have set in and are even breeding in that stretch.
For now I figure out what bugs are flitting around seasonally and just buy flys to match.
Once I am good at it I plan to make trips to Montana, Idaho et cetera. It’s been fun.
This guy is incredibly talented, if you do get into fly tying.
We have a mix around here. Its primarily warmer waters, but the mountains do have some fresh cold creeks that support natural reproduction.
I got my son into it when he was just tiny by taking him to lakes with lots of bluegill. They hit like crazy and are really exciting for 4 year olds with the attention span of a 4 year old.
I’ve never gone out west, but everybody I know that has loved it. My one old buddy moved to Montana to guide and live the dream. His #1 favorite place in the US is the Snake River Canyon. He described it as ridiculous amounts of brown trout. Like fleets of them. And the evening hatches are like a blizzard emerging from the water.
I like the shaded mountain spring creeks and dropping flies on a pool to see what comes up.
This still works for me too, lol.
I’ll have to check out the video, thanks!
My uncle gifted me everything I need to get into fly fishing. I might give it another crack this season. I have the basics down, thanks to my uncle.
Hopefully no woke socialists target him for murder. He’s presently in the process of withholding his healthcare from everyone while he emits vast amounts of carbon to travel the continent on his selfish fly fishing adventures.
Break out the St. Croix and give it a swing. ![]()
No one ever regrets a bad day fishing. Unless they caught a bad back cast with their eyeball.
Thats pretty regrettable.
You must be a lot of fun at parties. You just have to inject politics into everything, even fly fishing.
He actually made the rod himself for me.
I regretted the last day I went fly fishing. It was fall in N. Wisconsin and we bushwhacked about a mile to a branch of the White River. After struggling with brush entanglements for an hour or so, I took a step into a deep hole and realized I forgot my wader belt.
Luckily I avoided hypothermia and future unnecessary fly fishing expenses.
Nice.
I remember a few conversations about the region we’ve had, and your tour of their facility, so I figured you had one of theirs.
Another independent news source segment that just warms the heart.
The title is already confusing healthcare and insurance. Not worth clicking.
I’m sure it can be heartwarming to focus on storylines that match your world views, but take a moment to learn something. Broaden your understanding and ability to think through real potential solutions instead of getting sidelined on bullshit, or at least bark up the right trees incessantly.
