You should respect all of them because they did something you are either unwilling or incapable of doing. Next time simply say thank you and walk away…
ok just for sake of argument here.
can anyone name atleast one incident in recent history where the us military has deployed in order to directly protect the freedoms of the united states people?
…at least 2 big ones I can remember…
a civil one maybe too…
How bout over in Afghanistan…
how about it,would you please explain?
if I remember my history correctly the only ones were
- american revoloution.
- american civil war
all other conflicts were us interventions in conflicts that were started and being fought by countries abroad.
am I wrong here?
Pearl harbor and the world trade center were us soil, not to mention US embassies, ships and civilians that have been attacked over seas.[/quote]
pearl harbor was AFTER our involvment in the war before we got involved they did nothing.
WTC was AFTER our involvment into the dealings with the problems in the middle east that has been going on for eons.
everything that has been brought upon the united states was OUR doing
we are the police and the bullies of the world.
we go around telling other countries how to live and what to believe.
and then when we are attacked it is OUR freedoms that are infringed upon.
see this is why it is all the same type of people that belong in the millitary.
why not everyone is “good enough”
I can promise that not one of you that joined pre 9/11 wanted to “protect our country” it was either because of family pressure or it was because you wanted to be a bully your self.
now I am all for the original national guard.
a true vounteer force of “minute men”
people that worked and lived in the community and when something happened in their community then they jumped to arms.
todays millitary is a joke and a disgrace and deep down the more free thinkers know this however when they are allowed to express the veiws they see from the outside looking in the yare shot down by the bullying and eliteism of the millitary themselves.
and this is all I will say about it.
