Here is my explanation on why i personally believe PCT is stupid. Its a long post from another topic, but if you care - read it, maybe something will give you ideas of your own.

Why is it worse for gains : After you jack up your hormones you start gaining muscle, and if everything is done right you get some nice gains. Ok, so now when you have lots of new gains, that are not sustainable without steroids, you cut off these steroids. Even if you do the correct PCT, its not like you natural test is back at its highest levels any time soon.
