Have it below my left knee, i’ve been doing light weight high rep leg extensions/hamcurls, squats etc. to strengthen it, but I still have the discomfort. Anyone ever dealt with this before?

To start, read the above two articles. Begin implementing some of the things from there. Check the mobility of your ankles and hips. Check your glute activation levels.
