Hmm I might have to test your theory, but first perhaps I should learn how to knock someone over properly, and how to stand my ground for when the push back.[/quote]
It’s all about balance and knowing where your center of gravity is. I think you’ll be good at it just based on your oly experience.
I take up extra space too! Especially with getting smaller. I put my hands on my hips a lot, and I will ‘accidentally’ hit people with my purse when they get in my space. I think the worst is when waiting in line and people crowd so close they’re hovering over you. I tend to inch uncomfortably closer to people. I’m that asshole.
i like wearing a backpack so when people crowd me i can turn a little and give them a good shove with that lol. yeah, i think ‘pw’ is aptly named, too. nothing makes me feel more self confident and powerful than doing a set of heavy (for me) squats or deads. even when i know full well the other guys can snatch it it doesn’t take anything away from my sense of acomplishment. RAWR.
When not bragging about my geeky smexyness and hitting strangers with my giant purse. I do go to the gym. Granted with less frequency and time than I’d like this week, but a weekend away was worth it in the long term.
T: AM Spin
The weirdest spin class I’ve ever been to. There was a sub, I do not like unexpected change especially at 5 am!
The sub was obese. How the hell can an obese person be a spin instructor? Think about how much he must eat. It must be so much that he has to eat during class. Which he did. He ate breakfast while teaching the class. We took breaks when he needed coffee. Picture spinning with a giant man eating in front of you getting crumbs all over his face. That feeling in your stomach, I had that too. On top of all that he was singing to his music. What music you ask? Disco. He sang and ate to the Bee Gees. You see how this is conducive to getting food all over your face? Now you have the picture I’ll never be able to unsee.

Aw Sheeet. I’m a bully. SRS. Esp with women. People get out of my way. Period.
Don’t know if its so many metal shows over the years… OR JUST BEING ALPHA AS FUCK!

Lol, I play that game too. I’m not impolite, but I take up my space. If I get shoulder checked, I’ll say something. Tiny white women get in my space all the time, I only let it go when they’re old.
FWIW When I say in my space, I don’t mean I have a huge personal space bubble, I mean so close they touch me.

Just wanted to confirm that I received your donation and will be sending the sexy people shortly. I need to find something to ship those in so you don’t get them all busted and folded.

AM - Yoga; I need to stretch my hips more. My balance is getting way better though, yipee for not falling down!
PM - Hula hooping
So far I’ve been using a training wheel hoop. It’s really big and filled with water so it stays moving better. Yesterday I switched to a normal sized non-water hoop, and fuck me it’s hard. Since you don’t get to rely on inertia, you have to move quickly the whole time! I actually worked up a sweat.
I’m also getting really frustrated with my inability to hoop over my arms. I feel like some sort of wooden block, and I haven’t yet figured out how to fix it. I don’t understand the mechanics of the motion.
I can get it over my arms no problem, but once over my arms I can’t get it to stay. The weird side to side shoulder upper body thing she does, I can’t figure out!
I knew I could prompt you into some rolling
do you know I dont mind the whitebelts- so much
except for crazy kid who panics and kicks you in the face or something equally stupid
what I got more tired of is rolling with people who want to use they ‘muscles’
lame.
glad you got to tear it up
that nerd/sexy meme was on par with the hot nerd ass
That is so weird about the spin class. A couple of the spin instructors at my gym are on the fat side - I am not sure why that is. Chronic cardio? But at least they don’t actually eat on the bike. WTF. I hope you complained!
I didn’t know you did BJJ! What rank are you? I was guilty of being a flopper. It must have been really frustrating for people who wanted to practice technique lol
W PM after hooping
Step through thingys - 25 each leg. I’m slowly figuring out how to get my leg through without swinging it wide. It’s actually had good crossover to yoga. Transitioning from plank to crescent moon isn’t that weird anymore.
Woo hoo! I lowered the bar one notch for the pushups and put it higher one notch for the rows. A little victory, but any prorgess is progress in my book.
1 min sprint
1 min Jump rope
1 min mtn climbers
Repeat 5 times
Then she had us do x band walks up and down the gym. Fuck me those are hard. I can see how they’re great for butts though. Then lateral jump to burpee up and down the gym. They make me feel super uncoordinated, but also make me sweat like a motherfucker.
