Wow! My getting stalked thread is down now too. Look a Parody is when you use Post a spoof of another thread. This is generally done when someone tells a story that they think is wicked cool, but in reality it’s major boring. So to add entertainment value, the parodier will assume the role of someone other than the origional topic started in thier story and add some colorfulness to the story from that alternate point of view.
The two threads I got deleted were just little plays on the names of other threads, but the content of the threads was not mocking, and it was actually informative. Well you killed the black tea one too fast, but if we can’t discuss black tea on T-Nation anymore, well then just WTF.
Also, everyone realizes that GAL is 100% pure time wasting. There is absolutely nothing this section of the forum does, except entertain bored peopel who need to kill time. It’s about the least productive thing anyone can do. So now we gotta have this certain standard of just what exactly is considered “acceptable content” for the wasting of peoples time?

The easiest way to get rid of parody threads is to not respond. I’m against any type of censorship on this site unless someone is making threats or being intentionally malicious. The fact that the moderators censor posts out is the reason a lot of other fitness sites cap on TNation and use it to discredit the sit. Kind of a shame if you ask me. Now I’m not just talking about parody threads anymore, I’m talking more the nutrition side of things when a nutrition expert comes and tries to give an alternate view on supplements and some of the claims made and their posts are deleted. We get it Biotests hypes their supplements, there’s those out there that are going to call them out on it, but by deleting said users posts you basically legitamize their attack. Let people post what they want their will always be 2 sides to every coin and there will always be lame threads that people can choose to respond to or not.

Pushed off the page? There is still a thread on page 1 of this forum that has not been responded to at all today. If you make one click of the mouse, page 2 contains threads which have not been responded to in a day or maybe even two. Are you really saying you want censorship so you don’t have to make one extra mouse click?

Point is no one can enjoy THAT much cookie. But everyone can enjoy a little cookie.

So the moderators are deciding what is an “interesting parody thread” or that parody threads all together don’t belong??
