Palumboism - Causes and Case Studies

Lol, I like that Lee can give his opinions based on the trends he’s seen, but at the end, still adds an “but what do I know?” comment.

It is interesting, and I know I’m repeating what’s already been said over and over, that as competitors seemed to rely more and more on non-training/dietary variables, we’ve seen certain issues arise, or even become more common or apparent.

I wonder how Dave Palumbo feels knowing his name has become a term for guys that either mess themselves up, or push to the point of devolution.

Kamali with Stage IV Palumboism, also known as end stage physique failure (ESPF).

wtf is with the naked dude in the mirror to the right, very weird

^^ lmao

It’s like one of those ‘When you see it, you will shit bricks’ memes

LOL!

I didn’t notice that the first time either. Obviously ELS’s naked dude detector is superior to the rest of ours

I am not sure if it has been discussed?

It looks to me like these photos show bodybuilders that have spent years using massive amounts of p.e.d.s in helping them build their physiques and have now come off them or vastly lower amounts and are still trying to compete.

Do we know if they are on the same “supplement” program in the after pictures?

There are many that no longer compete but are addicted to being huge, regardless of the aesthetic or physical or medical consequences. Brad Hollibaugh comes to mind–has kidney disease but still loves juicing.

As we can seem, Kamalos is dedicated to getting bigger and bigger from a Facebook status update: “Getting bigger and harder every fucking day… You know you are doing something right when wannabe punks walk to the other side of the gym when I stand next to them… 288 pounds at 5’10” can scare away the biggest of douchbags."

Does this quote remind us of someone we know?

sounds like the biggest douche bag of them all

Stu did you mean non training and non dietary or non training, dietary variables. If the latter what dietary things do you think are causing it? Seems like there are many guys who have eating a wide variety of amounts and macro splits, all have it. Just curious

Sorry if I was confusing Ryan. I meant non-training and non-dietary variables. I hate to beat the PED aspect to death, but let’s face it, it’s the real variable that so many competitors and coaches seem to be pushing the envelop with these days in hopes to finding untapped development.

It’s ok my brain is fairly non functional on weekends. as I reread it to reply I figured that’s what you meant but I had stuff typed out so I posted anyways.

Have to agree with PEDs though I do feel only certain ones in high continuous dose ages are the offenders.

When Branch looked good.

His gastro nearly plugs directly into his heel!

As someone with very high calf muscles, I hate him!
