Palatinose - Too Much Fructose?

If you were to take palatinose in a peri-workout drink, or even mixed with protein during the day to supplement your calorific intake. Could this have a negative effect due to the potentially large amounts of fructose you could be ingesting?

gas/bloat due to un-absorbed fructose feeding flora in the large intestine?
increased insulin resistance?
potential to overload the livers ability to metabolise fructose?
