The Rock is a beast. Yummy.

In ‘‘Faster’’, Dwayne seems to be at his heaviest. Running looks like he had shit in his pants. And I loved it.
Yeah, he looked great in it.

Have you read the Jack Reacher books by Lee Child?

You may like those and it’s very easy to see Dwayne playing the role of Reacher.
I see Dolph Lundgren from his early career.

But we must work to intercept DarkNinjaa before she discovers who is “really” going to be Reacher next year.

DarkNinjaa, if you decide to read a Jack Reacher book…please just go right to the bookstore and do not google anything online first!

Hahaha!! Yeah I read Jack Reacher years ago. I think I even commented on a thread about him.

I was in shock when I found out who will be playing him in the movie. I remember Derek making me laugh about the not so tall actor who always runs somewhere in all his movies. LOL!

Bay has pulled off a “reverse Reacher” in casting The Rock. Here’s his real-life counterpart.

I stumbled across this pic and figured this was worth a bump.

As I’ve said previously, this movie sounds entertaining enough as long as you’ve never heard of Craig Titus, then it just gets a little creepy.

Compared to the average 41-year old, not too bad at all, considering 20+ years (maybe on/off) training and being in the entertainment industry the whole time.

If it is a factual movie based off the Craig Titus incident, and Marky Mark and The Rock are in it, I don’t want to see that movie. Ever.

It isn’t based on Craig Titus’ case, it’s based on two other small-time bodybuilders/criminals/killers (played by The Rtock and Wahlberg), as was discussed in the rest of this thread.

It’s just that when I first heard a summary of the movie a while back, along the lines of “bodybuilders wrapped up in crime with the film’s tone similar to ‘Fargo’”, my first thought was about the Titus stuff because, at the time, I didn’t know the details of the actual case.

It was the first thing that popped into my mind as well. It’s just, well, Titus’ and his wife killed their threesome partner so…yeah.

Its like that time a kid pointed out Sting singing The Police’s “Every breath you take” and commenting “That white guy stole Puffy’s song”.

LOL!

Or more recently that girl who said Mick Jagger is only famous because his name is mentioned in some song by Maroon 5.

Every Michael Bay movie ever

Its a cluster all the way around.

I think Anthony Mackie has gotten overlooked in this flick. Him and Wahlberg are actually playing the two “real life” bodybuilder-killer guys. I haven’t found any real person that Rock’s character is based on, but based on the BBQ pic, I’m gonna have to guess he’s definitely a member of “the sun gym gang.”
