Based on a true story, “Pain and Gain” follows a group of bodybuilders who engaged in a campaign of kidnapping, extortion and murder in Florida. First told in an article from the “Miami New Times,” “Pain and Gain” will be directed by Bay and will star Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Interesting…I see Wahlberg is already looking the part. Anybody have any solid background on the “true” story?

Funny, I first reported this back a few weeks back in here. I thought it was going to be a comedy. As far as walberg looking the part. While hes bigger than the average dude, hes not what i would call big. The rock on the other hand, is a different story. But i bet its going to be a good movie. the rock and walberg were in another movie together, but not really together. the movie with walberg and wil ferrel. very funny movie. The rock had a little part in that.
Could be a cool movie, but how do you think the roidz and the creatinezzz will come into it?
Just a huge media outlet to give body builders an even worse name. Unless The Rock turns into a hero at the end and Rock bottoms Walberg… man i should be a screen writer

Yeah…I can see your point. It is a comedy though(albeit,a dark one) so we shall see. AND Michael Bay is the director…lol.
Anytime the cops can find a canister of protein powder laying around in a suspect’s apartment he’s labeled a bodybuilder by the media. It just conjures up big scary bad men.

If walkberg dieted now down to ‘competition leanness’ he would look better than 90% of guys on this site.
in that pic, hes what 180, if he dieted down, hed be, 140lbs. lol. Why even bother dieting down, when your going to lose alot of size.
U really think Mark Wahlberg would way 140 dieted down? what is he, in high school?
+1. What is this sentence? Plucking 180 out of nowhere then plucking 140 out of nowhere too!? The “Why even bother dieting down?” was the giveaway though… pretty obvious post to get attention from someone who presumably follows bodybuilding.
Anyway, Michael Bay directing and Walhberg/Johnson should make for some easy to watch entertainment.

RV you’re fat, and I’m not convinced you even know what bodybuilding actually consists of.
bahhaahahahahahahahah. bodybuilding means different things to different people. Guys like you, call me fat, cause your most likely little. People can honestly look at my pic and see fat, i feel sorry for them, that they are in such denial. To me, bodybuilding is about becoming huge and freaky looking. The only guys that say, “gee, i don’t want to get that big” are lying. they mean, they can’t get that big.

Most bodybuilders, cut down, cause of upcoming contests. If they never competed, i doubt they would ever cut down. I picked 180, cause he looks about 180 in that pic. and for him to compete in an actual contest, hed probably have to lose 30-40 lbs. there you have 140.
