So I had my wisdom teeth out, and they gave me some oxycotin to control the pain. The dosage said 1 or 2 pills. I was taking 1 and it worked alright but I decided I might as well try to take 2 just to see what it was like. Big mistake. This is crazy. I have to force myself to breathe or I don’t, and I feel sick to my stomach. I also can’t feel the slightest bit of pain. I could probably get stabbed without feeling it right now.
What bumblefuck of a town do you live in that they gave you oxycotin for wisdom teeth?
Oxycotin for wisdom teeth? hahaha
Now you realize why they call that shit “hillbilly heroin”.
I donno how people can get addicted to that stuff. I thought I was going to die!
I’m in Canada btw ;D
Are you sure it is not oxycodone, I do believe it is a respiratory depressant
Oh ya that’s what it is. I thought they were the same thing. My bad.
oxycontin and oxycodone have the same chemical makeup. oxycontin just comes in bigger doses and has a time release feature. all narcotic anaglesics affect breathing. naseusa is common when you take to much of a narcotic also. people like it because when you do it you feel no pain and have apathy towards your life and all those worries you have everyday disapear.
not speaking from experience, but…
dentist do use oxy for painkillers. there was a local dentist that was helping supply a pretty large drug ring.
also, it does make you ill the first time you take it. then it makes you numb. after you start taking it, you get addicted like heroine, but your first time will be rough. after that, the feeling is so good you will literally do anything to get it, up to and including sucking a guys dick. again, not from experience. my friends girlfriend got addicted to it, it was sad to watch. needless to say, they are not together anymore.
Oxycodone HCL is the name of the drug used in Oxycontin which is the tradename. Nausea and vomiting are recognized adverse effects. The respiratory depression you’re having is a serious adverse effect that can result from oxycodone. Stop taking it and call your doctor.
snort it
Yea, that is a bad side effect. A lot of times when people die from overdose it is because the part of the brain that tells you to inhale and exhale has been depressed, so they just sit there and turn blue.
Don’t drink anything either. That just about guarantees it.
Is the active ingredient the same thing as Hydrocodone?
They gave him/her oxycodone, not oxycotin, I had the same thing with my wisdom teeth removed. It’s the best damn thing really next to squatting my truck. Yes it’s addicting and its a synthetic heroin. Not bad to be honest, hell, I’ll get my phd and get myself a doctors prescription pad for it.
no they are both narcotic anaglesics but hydrocodone is weaker. hydrocodone is vicodin. oxycodone is percoset and oxycontin
Dont chew it!
Hydrocodone = Vicodin
Oxycodone with acetaminophen = Percocet
Oxycodone with ASA = Percodan
Oxycodone = Oxycontin

That sounds bad but I bet they feel pretty damn good to not care about breathing!
I think this solves the old “if i ever need to commit suicide I’ll…” question.

Not everyone gets psychologically addicted, but all long term users will have nasty withdrawal when quitting. I know someone who was on it for six months after accidentally sawing his fingers off and having them reattached. After stopping, he said his guts felt like they were on fire for about four days, and he barely ate or slept for a week. I think that was his third try at quitting.
Budlight’s first post explains it well. Oxycotin has the time release mechanism. That’s why people grind it up and snort it. The time release factor goes away when it is ground up. Oxycodone doesn’t have the time release. I herniated discs in my back and my doc gave me a script for a shitload of them. I only needed about 20 pills over the course of a couple of weeks when the pain was really bad. I had about 110 left. I knew how great they were and wanted those fuckers out of my house ASAP. I gave the rest to a drug pal of mine and took a nice little trip to Puerto Rico on the 80% I got. I don’t know what he did with his 20% split.
