185x5x3…starting strength anyone? I think I am going to reset to doing 3x5 and adding weight in small increments each workout until I truly stall.
My body rebelled and said hell no to deadlifts today. I got in 2 crappy sets of 4 at 215, but that was it.
I have been thinking long and hard about my programming and I may want to change it up. The 4 main power movements are still going to be my cornerstone, but I’ve had so much fun with accessories, I want to focus more on stuff like chin ups/dips/rows etc…Stay tuned for updates, I’m basically going to just do whatever the fuck I want for now, which is what I did today(impromptu deload :)):

Pushups 10reps 5sets
dumbbell shoulder press 20x8x5
Chin ups 5x3
hanging leg raises 25x4
hypers 25x4

I’ll take your crappy sets of 215!! Doing whatever you want sounds fun…pretty much what I do. I can’t conform to a program it seems, cause I always end up tweaking it somehow haha.

Wow, thanks, Mel! That makes me feel great :slight_smile: I’m pretty sure all of the gains are mostly due to all the benching I’ve been doing. I’m planning on throwing in some accessories to target my rear delts and lats particularly, so lets see if I can make em look even better.

not sure which I like more the chins or the squats. you rock em both Owlie.
