I was wondering if anyone knows if the overreaching program by Charles Poliquin would work if I do a regular program and just train overtrain one body part for two weeks and rest. I don’t have enough time to do the entire program so it isn’t an option but I’m really interested in the idea.
Would I get the same amount of growth on the specific body part trained if I attempted this?

I’m not familiar with the ‘overreaching’ program, but if it is what I think it is, it’s a good plateau breaker, although, personally, I would limit the time frame to a couple of days to start, e.g., do your normal leg workout today, then every day for the next 2-3 days, 3-4 days total, do x amount sets of squats, tacked on at the end of your regular routine.
