Just wandered over and thought I’d stop in and say hello. That’s a lot of DLs! Nice to see your strength coming up.

Hello ladies. I’m baaaAAAckkkkk! Reader’s Digest version of the last 8 months: breast C diagnosis in July, surgery in August (teeny tiny, all is well), radiation in September, cellutis in October (one week hospital stay), IV antibiotics for 3 weeks, skin split that caused a quart of fluid to drain from the breast (was at home when it happened – not scary at all, just very strange to watch and the pain finally was gone), 22 additional days of oral antibiotics, 12 weeks of weekly wound care appointments. Whew! Oh and I took the WA Bar Exam in February. I was not able to go to the gym at ALL until January. I hated that. January and February were sporadic based on swelling, fluid and study time for said bar exam and still working full time. Now I’m finally, completely healed and back to a normal life. I put on weight and my muscle has understandably diminished. I’m back in here to find my routines, write them up and get back on a 5 day gym schedule.

I’m sure all of you are as fantastic as ever and I look forward to getting caught up with your progress and mine!

Hey, lady! Glad you are fully recovered! Sounds like you and my mom had the same kind of year with breast cancer and difficulties from the surgery/treatment. Glad you are back and still going strong!

Oh my goodness what a year. I’m glad you’re on the other side of it and back to making yourself well. I’ll look forward to following on your journey back!
