Oregand(Davids) Training Log

Note: Dont expect much from this weeks training sessions, Im not in a decent gym for this week so I have very little to work with i.e. No racks, DBs go too 30KG, I may not even get my hands on a bar etc.

Keep the faith and lets see what I can do.

Monday: Chest/Back

Warm up

Chest:
A) Bench - Top set 82.5KG x 3
S
B) SL Push press - 17.5KG x 6 - 8

Back:
A) DB Row - Top set 52KG x 5
S
B) F/P - 33KG x 6 - 8

Felt strong as fuck today but my shoulder let me down. I torn something in my upper right shoulder on Sat doing snatchs(too much weight) and its really having a bad carry over to my pulls and presses.

Fuck you cutting, you and your god dam injurys!

And like I said, for this week my gym = shit but Ill work with what ive got.

Here an example of the DB I was using for rows, the looks I was getting youd swear Id just eaten a baby for peri workout.

^^Doesnt look as awkward to row as I thought it would be lol. Nice rowing.

Circuit B: 3 Rounds/ 2 Min/ 15 - 20
B1: OHP - 30KG 15,14,14
B2: Step up - 50KG 36,36,35
B3: PullD - 26KG 19,19,18
B4: PullT - 33KG 15,15,15
B5: Crunch - 20KG 29,28,27

Holy freaking hell these circuits do NOT get easier.

Fuck man, that looks like straight cardio. Don’t know how you manage to hit the weights you do when the intensity is racked so high up. Mad props bro!

Thursday: Quads/Hams 5X5

Warm up

Squats: Top set - 110KG x 5 x 2(Shoulder pain was too much for more weight so I kept it reasonable)

RDL: Top set - 120KG X 5

SL Squats - 0KG x 8 - 10
S
SL RDL - 16KG x 8 - 10

Thanks man, im pushing through it but surviving these things are tough as hell.

Mad props on your Mill press btw, its great to see your number go only one way i.e. up

The bar still looks like its rolling onto your neck at the bottom part of your squat, focus on keeping it tight on the delt/trap shelf you create when you retract your shoulder blades during the squat set up. Other wise everything else is looking solid, hang in there dude!

Thanks man, your bang on with whats happening.

My shoulders still arnt tight enough so the bar rolls forward and my chest caves in, thus I fall forward. Its pretty crap but ill keep at it.
