Friday: Cicuits

Warm up

Circuit A: 3 Rounds/2 Min/ 12 - 15
A1: DB Press - 26KG x 13,12,12
A2: Front S - 67.5KG x 12,12,10
A3: BB Row - 70KG x 12,12,10
A4: RDL - 80KG x 12,10,11
A5: Plank - 0kg x 35,35,20

Rest: 10 Mins

Circuit B: 3 Rounds/ 2 Min/ 15 - 20
B1: OHP - 30KG x 15,14,14
B2: Step up - 50KG x 32,32,31
B3: Pull D - 26KG x 17,17,16
B4: Pull T - 31KG x 16,16,15
B5: Crunch - 20KG x 27,26,25

Two major goals from now on with my circuits

  1. Hit the rep range(higher scale)
  2. No more then 10 secs between movements

Those circuits look fucking brutal dude. You must be in great cardio shape atm from doing them.

Though great cardio shape isnt nearly as epic as benching 3 plates!

Monday: Chest/Back

Warm up

Chest:
A) Bench - Top set 80KG x 4(Failed on 5 reps)
S
B) SA Push press - 17.5KG x 6 - 8

Back:
A) DB Row- Top set 52KG x 4
S
B) F/P - 33KG x 6 - 8

Cardio: Incline walk 25 Mins

MODOK’s advice on using a strap to tie DB’s together in brilliant and now I can keep progressing on DB rows
Im going to do 25 Mins SS cardio 5 days a week and increase as I see fit. Just light uphill walking as I actually really enjoy it and feel better after it.

I WILL GET STRONGER!

Oh and heres the basic idea for the DB, ignore the pussy 2KG weight

Rest: 10 Mins(I keep trying to make a lat pulldown bar but they keep breaking on me, the trainers at the gym muct think theres something very wrong with me)

Circuit B: 3 rounds/ 2 Min/ 15 - 20

B2: Step up - 50KG x 35,35,34
B3: PullD - 26KG x 18,18,17
B4: PullT - 31KG x 17,17,16
B5: Crunch - 20KG x 28,27,26

Today was interesting, After the first circuit I felt pretty bad and wanted to call it a day but I gave it a minute or two and all of a sudden has this massive rush for my second circuit.

Greek yogurt was a BAD choice for breakfast! And Jakey, if your looking at the vid I was cursing your name during every bloody rep :stuck_out_tongue:

Very tired and very hungry today, I need too sleep more before collage kicks off.

Also, reappplyed for the gym for another year and they told me I might not be allowed back into the HPG(High preformance part).

So I told them this “If not, Im taking my money and will join another gym”. So depending on what they say over the next few days I might end up training in Mortons stadium from now on. Doesnt bother me a bit, its futher away but a small dungeon full of strong people.

So I have to know Dave, have the giant sets made you cry yet…or do you just basically curse my name? I distinctly remember actually tearing up from the pain one time last summer during a very similar circuit…lol

Im going to be totally honest with you, Yes.

Last week, Friday. Dont remember what round but on Circuit A my eyes were very clearly watering after the front squats.

I actually get really scared before them now, lol
