Opinions and Help with Anavar

Currently on TRT I’m 31 years old. I’ve been on trt for about 9 months. I was 312lbs and dropped down to 226lbs. I had a workout background before I blew up but life happened…now I’m thinking about adding Anavar to the trt or should I just let the trt keep helping me in the gym. PS I’m on the trt because my levels were low but I’m tying to reap the benefits in the gym as well. Here’s a before and after of me as well.

Why do you think you need anavar?

Jesus dude, good work.

Anavar will help a small amount to lose weight. Bro Science incoming: It might increase your Total Daily Energy Expenditure by 10%. Dieting is still absolutely required, and I would not touch Anavar to help with that until you have exhausted your opportunities to cut without it.

Read through When Your Cut Stalls and take it as far as you can get before using ‘help’. Most of the weight loss benefits of taking Anavar, as far as scientific studies go, is already achieved by being on TRT.

@Rooni I will second what @Andrewgen_Receptors said, “Jesus dude,” great freaking work! In my humble opinion, if you have done this well so far don’t change a damn thing. Save the more powerful stuff for later.

Consider taking a diet break for a few weeks. You’ve done great, but that last push is always the hardest… sometimes a small break back into maintenance calories can help you recalibrate and get started again on the right foot.

Keep us posted.

The plateaus that are in this sport are inevitable. What you need to do is keep focus. Work through the plateau.
As Andrew has said, change your diet strategy at little. You might have reached a point where your body has gone into preservation mode. That is, it thinks you are trying to stave it to death. A diet break (make it short) should reset your metabolism and allow you to drop some more fat weight.

How is your strength doing? Are you getting stronger, or has that plateaued too? The more muscle you have the higher your basal metabolism is.

If your strength has plateaued, look into another training program.

You have made some remarkable progress. Don’t let the plateau get you down. Your body is testing you to see if you are serious.

My strength has leveled off a bit. I gained a significant amount of strength up until now I keep trying to raise weight slowly and I’m doing different workouts to keep the body entertained, but my strength is kind of flat lining.
