Online Training Log

Jelliot,

At the present moment I want to perfectionate LifterLog as a site to log past training. Maybe in the future I could add the posibility of planning future training.

The training cycles idea is good but I think it would please 5% and confuse 95% of potential users. We have to face it, many people don’t know the technical terms.

About the homepage thing, to put inspirational pictures, PRs, etc. It’s a good idea and it’s already in my “someday or maybe” list.

Thank you very much for your help.

Beni

Hey nice work man, great idea. Im not very knowledgable with this area but I have a few ideas. Just how feasible they are I have idea. First I think it would be cool to have the ability to establish training cycles, view a condensed micro, meso, or macrocycle in some understandable fashion… Perhaps just enter “workout A” or “swim 45mins” or something along those lines. If you could create a “home page” where our individual stats are available, PR’s things like this, maybe a place to compile inspirational pictures…or something.

Maybe our homepage can list what we are scheduled to perform today, and a the current week we are training in, making a quick way to see what happened that week or what is projected to happen. Hopefully this makes sense, let me know if clarification would be helpful. I like it, this could be incredible…[/quote]

I corrected all reported bugs.

The magically-rearranging exercises bug is corrected. Unfortunately the problem was in the saving part, not in the showing one. This implies that sessions or programs which were affected will still show unordered (they were saved that way). You can solve this editing, rearranging them manually in the correct order and saving again.(You can reorder exercises draging the blue handle at the left.)

Sorry for any inconvenience.

And remember, I welcome bug reports and critical comments. It helps me to make a better lifterlog.

Thank you.

Cool thanks! That is some good management right there!

-Fireplug

Some new features:

-Now bodyfat calculator can use the body circumferences method.

-Probably you’ve already seen the new “Intensity stack” report wich stacks volume showing different intensities in different colors. With this I want to address the “how much of plotted volume was a warmup?” issue.

Hope you like it.

Beni.

I love it, no issues with anything so far.

Only suggestion (I dont know if this has been mentioned) would be a drop down box allowing you to select either Lbs or KG.

At my gym (in metric world) I record barbell weights in Kg (we have 20kg plates) but use dumbells in lbs.

Excellent work.

I use the same user name in the program.

helga,

when you are entering a weight if you append “kg” it will automatically be converted to lbs. It also functions when entering a bodyweight.

In the future I’ll add an option to select your preferred units so you can see everything in kg.

Thank you,

Beni

When did lifterlog go from a free to a trial site? Maybe I am blind and never even noticed the trial mention on the main page (probably because this thread mentioned it would stay free).

Is anybody still using this log site, or does anyboy have a better one?

Thanks.
