Online Training Software

Hey guys,

Having OK’d this post with the mods, i’d like to invite you all to take a look at a website I’ve spent several months creating:

www.musclejournal.co.uk

The gist is - (free) online training journal, complete with goal monitoring, graphs of progress, that sort of thing. For an idea of what the site is about, take a look at the Journal of one of the site’s users:

www.musclejournal.co.uk/view.aspx?U=bignasty31

I realise there are other things similar to this out there, but hopefully some of you might find this useful!

The site is under ongoing development, and I’m happy to add new features that folks may find useful. I have lots of stuff planned for the future.

I’d love to hear any feedback you may have about MJ.

Many thanks,
Jim

Pretty cool.

I just opened an account.

Thanks!

Cool, no need to thank me though, I want people to use it!

If you could let me know your initial impressions I’d be most grateful

Thanks again
Jim

Hey, just registered.
Love the idea. One complaint so far: the template creation system is kind of awkward to use if you are going to program a lot of sets. If you could implement a checkbox system, things would go a lot more smoothly.

Thanks a lot though, I am definitely going to make use of this.

Hiya

When you say checkbox system - could you elaborate a little? I am definately planning to improve on the workout template stuff (along with many other areas of the site), just trying to prioritise my to-do list

Thanks
Jim

Ok by checkbox system, I mean make each set selectable. So for example if I want to delete 10 sets at once, I can just select them all via a checkbox and then click the recycle button once. Or if I want to change the comment on those too, same thing.

Thanks again

That makes perfect sense. I’d actually got this change planned for later in the week - great minds think alike i guess…?

Thanks for the feedback

body measurements in centimetres (and inches) would be nice

really nice!
i just look for somethink like that!

thanks!

Hi Screech

I’ve made a post about this in the technical support room on MuscleJournal as I’d like to see what the other users of the site think about the possiblity of centimers alongside inches.

Thanks
Jim
