Unsure of my form…I think I am keeping the DB to much over my head at the end…also think I might not be rolling it close enough to me at ‘take off’ I made a vid. at 60#…might have to back off the weight and get better at form.

Okay so I just got caught with your workouts. got to say them there pistols you are doing are great - me I love the pistols! I do em after every heavy squat workout - make my legs beg for mercy. I find that it helps with the smaller muscles in the feet, knee and hips that is why I keep doing em. Also your bench is ROCKIN’. You are doing some stellar work. Btw for what it is worth being able to bench yourself is awesome!

Great work on repairing the holiday damage. I keep thinking I ought to get down to 130lbs but seem to get distracted by lifting heavier and heavier and oh just a bit heavier. But with this darn race I signed up for I might just make it to that weight…since I will have to shift focus to conditioning a bit more. I plan to start 5/3/1 again soon - but not with the intention of making p.r’s in my lifting - just keeping something. I think it should be achieveable!

N8tive~ thanks a bunch for the compliments :slight_smile: I cant believe you can do pistols after squats…craziness I say!! :slight_smile: And about the holiday damage…each year now for 2 years I whine here and there about wanting to be leaner…so a few months back I decided enough whining and just DO IT ALREADY, lol. SO far I have come down from 138…I know that I will eventually stop making the PR’s and gains in weight lifting but it will only be temporarily. I just hate that it takes long, lol. I want it NOW…

First off - congrats on the damage control! I’m still doing my own damage control, so i applaud you golf claps

Second - damn woman!! 3x60 DB snatches is good stuff. Esp since you’re weighing in at 129. If you’re not feeling too shy, i’d love to see the vid. DB snatching is my fave, so I’m keen to see how others do it.

As for keeping the DB over your head too long - is it just a matter of not wanting to, say, drop it on your head? I mean, once the DB is overhead, esp as the weight gets heavier, it is a bit cubersome to bring back into the starting position…
