Looking great. I don’t know anything… But think your shoulders are looking good and your lats are looking wide (in a good way). What kind of competition are you training for? I’m really excited to be following along. I particularly love the real pictures. It doesn’t mean a lot to me to just see the competition pics. So much more to be learned by following the journey, I think.

What a crazy week…owning a business in retail means Christmas is nuts! I wasnt able to get any solid workouts in but I did a few full body ones…not much internet time so I didnt bother posting them up.

Day 1 of prep pretty much done and in the bag!
~Wasnt a scheduled workout day today so nothing very exciting to post. Over the week of Christmas I was able to get 2 full body workouts squeezed in but that was it. I am glad that I can get back to my routine now!
~Took the dog for a hike today through the fields. I try to walk him daily for about an hour…normally I dont post this as exercise in my log as its just part of the daily routine, but I am going to try and be as detailed as possible with what I do so that there can be a pattern/reason if diet needs to change.
~Food was spot on. Afternoons are going to be a problem for hunger, I can tell that already. By 4 I was STARVING. Drank lots of tea and lemon
to get me by until dinner. Portions are big so that is nice.
~It took me a long time to become comfortable with eating like a horse, will just take time to get accustomed to this.
~Cooked enough meals to last me the next 2 days ![]()

Guys that don’t lift don’t know what girls that lift look like. It doesn’t take much time at all to look through this log and see some lovely ladies… that lift!
I believe its insecurity that girls can be stronger than themselves because they don’t push themselves, but I don’t know.
Anywho, great work going on in here! Can’t wait to see your results!
thanks! And I think you are right about the being stronger part. I have recieved some pretty snide remarks about being strong and it usually comes from guys that dont workout that would have no reason to be so hateful other then being intimidated or embarrassed. Whatever.

Diet
Diet was good today tho I did sub dinners meat with lobster tail. Just steamed with fresh lemon and ate an amount that would equal what I should have eaten in chicken. Asparagus was the veggie and 1/4 cup brown rice :love:. Still was hungry after dinner ![]()
Going out tonight, am the DD and armed with an absolute zero monster.
~ splitting lunch really helped with afternoon hunger.
~ instead of 1 cup ff greek yogurt as my last snack I had 10 plain shrimp, 1 cup of raw broc and 1 cup celery both plain. works out to be fairly the same. So much food at the party
My stomach growled the whole time, lol, good thing it was noisy there
Last minute I decided not to eat the yogurt before I went and I am glad…it was nice to find some suitable munchies there.

Diet~
In all honesty the past 3 days have been rocky and I havent stuck to the plan come the end of the day. For several different reasons. I am focused again and my mind is in a better place so I feel better about everything.
I was getting almost obsessive about food, and cals, and this and that and I couldnt stop thinking about it. The key for me will be to eat my food and forget about it. Go about the day as I always would…not constantly thinking about food and diet plan and and and ![]()
It is a good thing the show got bumped another week because I guess I really needed this week to figure things out and have a mini panic about it all.
Everyone in my house is back to school work on Monday! Hooray! This will make things easier, I LOVE my routine!

Is the obsessing about food part of your body transitioning into lower calorie intake, do you think? I mean… That it thinks it is starving so you find yourself thinking about food all the time?
I need to get my nutrition back on track… I’ve been starting to obsess about it a bit, too, but now thinking that ‘as much as you want of clean food’ (aka simply cutting out the beer and sugar and gluten and letting me stuff my face on rice and veges I my body wants it) might be enough of a first step for me…
But you have much higher goals than me, so I don’t know…

That is the cowards way out. If he really had guts he wouldn’t pretend to lift near you. He would approach you haha. But, I have never seen a guy who wasn’t a complete moron approach a girl at the gym. So, he probably thinks he is a tool, but decided “Screw it, I’ll atleast watch her… discretely”

Alexus~ I am sure its the big drop in cals thats doing it! My body is like WTF?!?! Wheres the crackers??? I went from eating 2500+ cals a day sometimes even 4000 cals a day to 1440-1600!! Yikes! If I stick to it my body will get used to it and it will feel better.

Weight~ 138 Weight seems to be climbing but I know that every time I take a break from lifting for a few day to a week it drops 5ish pounds and then climbs back up when I start again. You can see the pattern if you follow back. as long as it stops at 138 I did not gain this week. I didnt think I would becuase even with those few days of eating not to plan I tracked my cals and they were close to maint. and WAY less than what I was eating prior to this week.

weeks recap~
OK average weight for the week was 135.666 (lol)
Not a big drop and not a good start. Like mentioned above I had a few reckless days.
With the change of date for the comp I am officially at 20 weeks out today. I was lucky.
How the diet makes me feel thus far? All I can think about are crackers and peanut butter
and most days I have a headache.
~ I did note tho that any diet pop or energy drink sends me into a craving frenzy for junk food. I will be avoiding those for a bit and sticking to tea.
Training all week has been great
Though I am a DOM right now, lol! Everything hurts today…legs, ass, abs, back, shoulders! I think it is the short rest periods…
