One Plate, Two Plate, Three Plate, Four!

I saw you wandered over into the old-folks section so I thought fair to check in on your log. You are looking Jacked with a capital J. Great work in here.

can we talk about your rack? it’s natural right? how much weight does it support without going all over the place

Some awesome pressing in here! Really inspiring for me. I need to get back into these. Got all distracted by push-pressing and jerking but really I used to be real proud of my strict press… Though weaker than yours to be sure.
Thank Alexus! I was surprised at how far my press has come, I never would have thought it! Push pressing tho super fun, never did help increase my strict press. Just lots and lots of strict pressing did.

I thought my best ever bench was 187 then realized we didn’t add the fives so it was only 177. I was crushed haha. But you’re right! You shouldn’t focus on that right now! Use that frustration to kick ass next time you’re in the gym!
Oh man that DOES suck!! So frustrating eh?
And I am RE focused  Time to kick more ass

lol!
The hubby made it for me <3 Its super strong…never moves around or bounces for me, I have had 200 on it. Only thing I would change is the bars I am using to rack. They are a little loose . I have better pics of it some where in here…
Thanks for stopping by! Your avatar makes me cringe every time  that would SUCK!

Ok, bad timing or not I need a deload really bad or I am going to injure myself or get sick.
Why? ~ Thurs and fri I had some serious joint pain, I was sick on Monday and Sunday, and today all my joints are still really sore, my muscles are weak and feeling strained, and I have had a kink in my neck for 2 weeks. I have been sleeping every chance I get and its not enough. weight lifting makes me feel way emotional.

I feel like a sissy for it :frowning:

Anyways…how do you properly deload when you are following a program and are in the middle of it? I dont want to take a week off and be a lump.

Today
RDLs’
1x185x5

1x185x5

1x205x5

1x185x4
1x35x1

1x135x5

Back Squats
5x95x4

Bench
5x65x4

ohp
5xbarx4

Im sure you will make the most of it. Better to deload and go into the next phase ready both mentally and physically. I had a bad feeling when you were trying for PRs :frowning:

AND…no more going for PRs, you can do that after you win  The form brakes down when maxing out, no point in getting hurt!!

Do what you have to do to stay on track, just a little bump.

on the contrary I think its a great time to be going for PR’s! I am not dieting, I am eating a surplus of cals.
I think it is just that I have been working/pushing really hard since Aug with no rest and its time to have a wee one.

So today was crap, tomorrow I have off which gives me 4 days off in total and one lighter day. I should be ready to roll again Thurs, if not I will just lower the weight for one more day.

You((and your coach)know best! I have no clue on training for a show (obviously)
Im really enjoying all this, keep it up!

Thanks Up!
Also to note something strange with my feeling like crap…I got my period for the first time in almost a year. May have had something to do with that! Not used to those feelings/symptoms coming on anymore.

Your body doesn’t care what causes the stress. It only knows stress. So setting PR’s, having troubles at work and other life issues all add up. Step back, clear your head, and get back to killin it!

Thanks Drake! You got it right too…gotta listen to the body  I feel so so much better!

DELOAD WEEK DAY 2

I had such an adrenaline spike going on too! I guess my body is used to needing all that extra drive in the gym these days…

Feeling good again, spirits are better and my body is not angry anymore

Regular training resumes next week with a Tue, Thur, Fri, Sun layout as well as the week of Dec 16th.

Have no idea what I will be doing the week of the 23rd and then 20 week prep starts the week of the 30th!! CRAZY!!

Cant wait to see how things look under there!

Hoping I was able to add enough muscle…nervous! Still possible through prep I hope…getting closer!

Sweet V-taper! Dang.

Thanks Git!!

nice waist to lat ratio, get that V going!

Has anyone noticed your V-taper?

CG WOW Look at that V~~~love it! I think your shoulders grew too, they are looking rounder.

Hope your deloadish week went well.
