Some people are so afraid of ‘numbers’ lifted by a women. If I didnt tell anyone I lifted heavy they would never know. But if I tell them they think I am weird, or I am gonna blow up. Its stupid.
I see it as lift as heavy as you can and get better every day. My body rarely lets me down when I need to get shit done and I never want to lose that.

I didnt make my press. I was freakin mad. I need to remember that the press thing is NOT my goal right now
FOCUS WOMAN!!
I worked my way up to what was supposed to be 120 and got myself all revved up and DID it…but then when I took all the plates off I couldnt find the 5# plate that would have made it so
I miss counted and only did 115 FAAWWWKKK.
I tried again twice to get the 120 and got stuck half way up each time and finished them as a push press.
I really think that if I could have done it Monday when fresher I would have had it. (Or if I would have counted the damn plates right.) Today I felt like I was run over by a truck and 95 felt heavy.
I was in a friendly comp. to see who could get the best OHP in in the month of Nov. (based on WILKS value) I only need 2 freaking pounds today in order to win. I hate loosing.

Some awesome pressing in here! Really inspiring for me. I need to get back into these. Got all distracted by push-pressing and jerking but really I used to be real proud of my strict press… Though weaker than yours to be sure.
I thought my best ever bench was 187 then realized we didn’t add the fives so it was only 177. I was crushed haha. But you’re right! You shouldn’t focus on that right now! Use that frustration to kick ass next time you’re in the gym!
