CG? You did alright w/the new avi. Outstanding!
The keys come faster than you think. When can he get his permit? Here it’s 15 & 9mos. Though their all nervous to get behind the wheel, being heavy footed is a prerequisite. Good luck w/that.

)
Weights~ PUSH
Kinda bummed about the weights today…my back is so very tight right now and a good warm up didnt seem to help. Grrrr I hate that! I decided to leave the vertical push out of todays workout.
OHS~

5x75
5x80 fail on the 5th
I felt strong so I went with that last rep, lost my concentration and the bar moved directly over my head. Lost it, lol. Was alright tho because I am strong enough to control the bar down (wouldnt have put it up there otherwise) so anyways…lots of 75# in the future
Got a PR here tho

Karate tonight
Today will be a MONSTER appetite day I am thinking ;p
I’m happy to have stumbled upon this thread. I’m also gaining more interest in hunting, although, when I do finally try it, I want to go with bow instead of rifle.
Some impressive numbers, as well as that avi. I’ll definitely be following.

Bow hunting sounds pretty interesting to me as well except I once heard that with bow hunting the animal is left to bleed out while with a shot gun/rifle the harvest is more instant. Not sure if there is truth in that tho…seems a good shot with an arrow (especially the bows they have out there!) would be pretty final too. I am no expert thats for sure!
Thanks for stumbling in here
Stick around!
Bow hunting if done correctly is just as humane as a rifle if not more so. You have to be more sure of your shot and get so much closer than with a rifle, you are (I find) more careful with your shot with a bow. At least I am ![]()

thats good to hear! Coz I have always wanted to try it out ![]()
^You 2 stop w/all that sexy talk.
lol print…I was thinkin I sounded like a hillbilly ![]()
Karate~ tonight we worked on our gaits and our bo katas. Also helped the white belts with their katas. All in all good class, pretty mellow, nothing much to report!
My buns are gonna be hurtin tomorrow
I can already feel it!
Yea hillbilly is what I was going with too… kind of rednecky and back woods for sure.
I just took up bowhunting this year, I did not get anything with it but it was so much fun. I was with in 50 yards of elk and loved every minute of hearing them breath and seeing them move. It was so Great… take it up - you won’t regret it I promise.

Nothing rednecky or hillbilly about hunting, really. I’ll probably get into upon returning stateside for good. Not sure about the hunting in Germany. But, as I research, I’ll be bugging you two ladies quite a bit. And CG, I think a vid of you performing your katas is in order. How’s this for a deal: you post your katas, and I’ll post my bag work? Hmmm??? ![]()
Hey! Hillbilly women are sexy, as long as they have all their teeth.
Kata’s = practice practice practice practice practice… x infinity. & most def. in front of a full length mirror.
Passing on knowledge to the young grasshoppers is part of what makes you great at your art. Just think about the first few times you tried to tie your Obi around your Gi the correct way.
Bo kata sounds interesting! Occasionally we practice with a shindo (3 ft), but that’s about it for weaponry.
Seriously, there’s like 5 people in this log alone that can tranquilize me from a distance, put my nose into my brain with their hand and/or hang me upside down before making me into sausage filling…Hell yeah!
N8tive~ some day I ![]()
Beast~ you post your vid first, then I will post mine
Just teasin
When do you get to return to the States for good?
Print~ I agree, especially with the teeth part! :D…yes Kata is so much practice. The more you do them and the more you progress the more you see other movements within your kata’s too…I like that part! Everything falls into place and becomes natural
Lol, the belt tying! When I help others I still have to get behind them to do it! LMAO skillz!!
nimain~ I love that pic!!
laststand~ its not often we break out the bo, mostly just to learn our kata’s. Sometimes we do defense against knives and such… lol I am kinda dangerous with a bo just yet
Some days I have a hard enough controlling my own body parts never mind a long stick attached to them! LOL!
Mascherano~ You almost made me spit my coffee onto the keyboard
lol, thanks for the laugh!! Quite the crew we have here! ![]()
Bow hunting is where it’s at! Long bow though…maybe compound…maybe…but none of that cheating crossbow crap.
I’m not an archer or anything but… “Hey” ![]()

8r good mornings
8r static lunges each leg
8r front squat push press
