One Plate, Two Plate, Three Plate, Four!

I did a Boot Camp this morning (gawd awful time of day, lol)

we did~
30 sec of AMRAP of mountain climbers
20 BW walking lunges
10 chins (I could do 5 then the rest were jumping ones)
10 burpees
repeat 3 times

then we went out to the track and did~
20 pushups
20 BW squats
20 20# DB swings
1 lap around the track
repeat 3 times.

I joined this class 3 weeks behind everyone else and I was able to keep up to the first round of chicks, lol YAY me…I was scared before I went that I might pass out or something.
I think next time I will eat first tho, just something light.

I don’t know if I could make it through this without taking a break, much less worry about keeping up with people. haha. Recent pictures look good! Keep doing what you’re doing, it’s working!

Thanks Blaze! I am sore today…I always get sore when I do things quickly like that tho, I think its the lack of oxygen to the muscles because of no rest time or something like that? I forget the science of it…anyways, probably take a few classes before my conditioning gets stronger then I will feel better ( and kick some ass :wink: )

run across the field and then a 1/3 lap of track

run across the track and sprint 1/4 lap of track

no rests between any of this stuff.

He asked me how I was doing at the end and if I liked it…I said soon as I get the BW I want and I am done my 12 I am done with this stuff and then we can start real training, lol. I dont really like pushing that hard first thing in the morning. I didnt feel sick tho today so things are looking up :wink:

I am having such a hard time being patient and not going back to shieko ( I really was liking that) but I have to finish one thing at a time. Diet has been spot on, still havent reached 125 but I am seeing lots of changes so that is great! (even better really that the scale isnt moving down)

I am hoping tho to get to maybe 123 and hold there and that way I can compete in a lifting meet in the 125 weight class once I get my strength back up.

10 chins (were supposed to all be jumping but I did as many as I could regular then I did where I put one toe down and boost up a bit that way, lol no chick to boost me up today :P) I figure better to grind them out then just jump around.
20 walking lunges with 25’s
10 Push Presses @ 65#
15 box jumps
repeat 4 times.

between my shoulder and my neck is on fire today. I think I need a nap :slight_smile:

Some notes
~ I am fucking tired. Everywhere I go people say holy cow you look soooo tired, lol. Thanks man! lol. Looked back on June and I have only had 3.5 days off from work (counting next week too) and I am really starting to feel it. Its more mental then physical but its burning me out just the same. I should be able to slow down in July, meaning I have scheduled more days off, I so so hope it works out for me!

~last night while tucking my daughter in she says to me as she is petting my hands and arm (lol so cute) “mama your very hard and veiny” HAH!

~ I didnt want to get up this morning and do this. I am happy that I did tho coz now I am done and dont have to have the mental argument to do something tonight after work :stuck_out_tongue:

~made a smoothie when I got home 1/2 cup black coffee, scoop choc protien, 2 ice cubes and water. SO GOOD! ate a banana and some BCAA’s before I went.

Todays workout was~
45 seconds of jumping from one leg to the other as wide as possible (skater jumps?)
45 seconds of being in a push up position and then jumping your legs in and out.
Repeat 3 times.

run treadmill 1 min (level 7)
15 pushups
20 static lunges
15 v ups
Repeat 3 times

10 back squats @ 85#
12 pullups
20 DB swings
Repeat 3 times

No rest between any of the above.

I am a big fan of the PSMF style cut but you are right, it can mess with your head bad.

Kinda why I can’t stand the dieting too long - the week sauce feeling makes me lose my “rawr”

cudos on pushing through it all non the less - especially work. When’s vacation time? I find when work gets tough I start “planning” my next vacation and it gives me something to look forward to.

Hey there Nimain…yeah I am feeling weak, lol. My bench has stayed up and squats mostly, but my deads are suffering. It will come back quickly tho I am sure. I have booked Sundays off for July as well as every second Tuesday and then a 5 day stint. I pray I get it becasue my customer service skills are starting to lack, HAH!!

Weighed in at 125 on Tuesday so thats down another pound…I have been hella hungry the last week to tho so I dunno if that will last. I do see more definition in my legs and arms so things are still happening.

Nah, I am just going by the mirror. I wouldnt be able to imagine what scale number would land me where I want…

Your looking pretty lean and I think it’s a good idea to go by the mirrior rather than the scale.

Unless you have to make weight for some sort of competition scale weight is just a mostly useless number.

Do you track you BF%?

I dont have anything to track BF with and doing it myself would probably be pretty unreliable. My weight fluctuates alot as does the amount of water I hold (lucky ladies) so I try to ignore it using it only as a guide that I am heading in the proper direction.
