nim~ thanks lady! Box squats give me a sense of security in that I wont get stuck in the hole…and the fact that I dont go in the hole helps too, lol. It had better be year of the leg!! Well Spring of the leg anyways :slight_smile: I like to do more CF stuff in the summer…

Im dying, lol! Hubby and I went out of town for a friends bday party. We ended up going to bed around 1 because there were a few pretty drunk people getting silly and it wasnt a good scene anymore. The bedroom we were staying in was right beside the kitchen and the party went on till 430 am!! THEN the puking began…someones insides are gonna be pretty darn sore today. What a wonderful sound lol. At 730 we got up and split, lol. I wasnt hung, just SUPER tired. I am officially to old for that shit and I dont even mind saying so!
So todays work out sucked, but I eeked one out anyways.

I fully admit to being too old for wild partying. Spent a crazy night drinking and dancing in Manhattan back in Jan. Went to bed when the sun was coming up. Took me like 4 days to recover. Worst part: it was a last minute Sat night thing that I couldn’t pass up with a some girlies that I never see BUT I had a session with the coach on Mon morning! Eeek. I was a wreck. Sat down to do a 155 box squat and couldn’t get up! Probably had something to do with all of my calories from the weekend coming from scotch. I am officially not a party girl anymore.

Keep up the good work in here.

nice push-pressing! i’m over the partying now, too. think it is because i care more about my performance at the gym to make the late night / early morning and dehydration etc worthwhile. makes it hard for me socially at work… realizing that drinking to the small hours is the main bonding activity. damn. still… i’d rather have a push-press like yours!

It does make it hard sometimes. There is many a time that I dont go somewhere simply because it is easier to not go then it is to explain why I am not drinking.
