I wish I could have that much steak. It’s not bad enough that it costs but then you have to listen to the kids bitch that they don’t like meat. Damn you all and your cubed steak.
Cube steak is relatively cheap-- not too much more than hamburger. 3.50/lb (you can do the canadian currency/metric conversion) on average compared to $7-9 for ribeye and T-Bone. Leaner, too.

But the fat in a ribeye or t-bone tastes soooooo good.

I tell mine that if they don’t like what I cook, which is mostly meat and taters of some sort, then cook your own dinner. They will then usually eat what I cook. Of course, for the most part, they do like meat, but prefer it lean. I prefer it cost-effective, which is why I buy what is on sale. My wife and daughters prefer NY’s or Filets (lean). I prefer Porterhouse and Ribeye or Rib steaks (marbley). It’s the same with pork. Sorry, I’m chatty this morning. Lot’s o’ coffee!!!

They have to eat what I make but it’s a trade off as to how much I want to hear them banging on about what they don’t like. It’s more so with my youngest who really only likes celery and chips.
Once a month I like to do a meat shopping expedition to Costco to do it as cost effectively as possible and divide it up and freeze it.

3 sets of bench = 45 reps, really good benching.
Thanks! Wanted to try something a little different today.
I don’t usually go into high rep benching, but it felt right at the time. I really felt it at 18, 19, and 20. Don’t know, just trying to feel it out. I might try this M.O. for a couple cycles and see what happens.
I’m just happy that my ‘working reps’ are in (or just about) in the 300’s now. Next week will be interesting!

And the weights? They just keep going up.
Bet you get your space in the gym these days with little argument.
LOL- I wish. Actually, I had to wait 20 mins while a P/T taught somebody how to squat in the rack before I could use it. I didn’t throw a plate at them, though.
