How many times a week should these be done? and for how many sets/reps should they done.

You could do them 1-5 times a week. Pavel recommends kbell work from 2-5 times a week, varying the intensity and length and exercises during each session. He also recommends anywhere from 1-100 reps when doing kbell snatches or jerks. Those are the only lifts he recommends using high reps on. I’m sure swings are okay too, but he specificially mentions the snatches and cleans in his book and video. And yes, the dumbbell and kbell are similar, so the same rules apply!
