I was 146.2 this morning. Technically counts as movement. Lol. Not gonna worry on it. I’m increasing weight on my big lifts this week. Strength is what I’m after. Everything else is gravy.

@atlas13 quick side note. So my husband read the book that you suggested. Now he is on a kick and has purchased like 7 new books about food and sleep for longevity and health. So essentially my mornings are spent getting the cliffs notes versions of all of these books and my living room tables are piled high with books. Lol. Thanks for that. :laughing:

Squats: (80, 90), 120, 125, 130

Bench: (50, 55), 70, 80, 85

Single leg deadlift: 40, 40, 45

Single arm row: (15) 25, 25, 30

Tricep extensions 3 x 10: 15, 15, 15 x 12

Hammer curls 3 x 10: 20, 20, 20 x 12

Situps 2.5# plate behind head 15 x 2

Weights are increasing nicely. Squats had good form I think. I’m feeling stronger in them which is encouraging. Switched some things around to even out my days a bit better.

I’ve become obsessed with the weight loss. This was not the point of any of this. My purpose was self improvement. Tracking my weight has become discouraging. So I will be stepping away from the scale for a bit. I can tell by looking and by the fit of my clothes that things are working. I’m able to see muscle in my back and arms. As long as this continues I believe I am on the right path. I will continue to log my food. I know myself well enough to know that it won’t take long for me to not only fall off the wagon, but to lie under it while it rolls back and forth over me if I don’t. The goal is to continue clean eating and to watch my macros. I’ve been off of added sugar for several weeks and feel much better without it, so this will also continue.

No macros or calories today. Breakfast and lunch were reasonable. I will be making pizza for, and enjoying it with, my family. Hopefully today’s will be a bit better than last weeks. Less soggy. I am on the road to amazing pizza. I can feel it. :crossed_fingers:

Progress is being made. Physically and mentally.

Damn girl, well done. And I have to say there is obvious improvement in the pics for the last 6 weeks. If this is what 6 weeks of consistency can do just imagine what 6 months or 6 years will do. Give yourself a big pat on the back and just keep pushing forward.

Chest fly and reverse fly were done as a superset. Why? Because my dearest love decided that my time in the gym was over and his had begun. Lol. So I had to move quickly.

I got my hair cut and colored Saturday and now bare a striking resemblance to the avatar of @Cyrrex. So there’s that. :thinking:

That is a solid point.

Lets say you and your husband are out on a date and some dude comes up, pushes him aside and starts touching you without consent.

How would you want your husband to respond?
Would you prefer your husband try to peacefully and amicably resolve this without conflict?
Or would you prefer he comes in swinging?

What response would make you feel safest and most attracted to him?

I use different terms, but its all the same thing IMO.

So the question is, at its most simple form, does a woman find it attractive to have a man who is physically capable of protecting her and potentially her children in the face of danger?
