congrats on the PR! am / pm training… drools… i wish i had a home gym so that i could do that. might be able to do am / pm on the odd day… but certainly not most days
do you tend to snatch in the am then do more strength stuff (cleaning, squatting etc) in the pm? curious about what seems to work for people in case i get the opportunity to try it myself.
I’m back…ok ok I never really left but its been a super busy weekend - I haven’t lifted since Thursday- The good news is my kitchen is done - The bad news is my garage is still full of crap from the re-model…my husband promised me this morning we will move the sink and other various things out of the way so I can lift…
With my AM/PM lifting…I wish I could have a set schedule and say ok I’m going to life from 5:30 am - 7:30 am…because I would love to get it all done in one sessions but probably won’t be able to till the summer…so my 11 month old dictates when I can go lift…for example today - Soon as I finish this I’m going out to help clean it up and do snatch…probably during his morning nap I will go try and get cleans in and tonight when my husband gets home I will squat.
think sometimes whatever we don’t have sounds appealing…
sometimes i wish i could train more regularly with other Oly lifters. but then i get to train a bit more with them and really miss training by myself. sometimes i wish i could train by myself in my own home gym. but then i start to want some peer-pressure to do my squats and the company of the other oly lifters.
i’ll admit from where i’m standing breaking training down into several smaller sized sessions sounds amazing. and from where you are standing having a couple hours to get it all done sounds amazing.
i wish we could do whatever we wanted whenever we wanted. oh well… at least we get to do it at all, i guess.
hope you get to experiment with doing things differently over the summer. ah, summer… i’m missing it already (turned cold yesterday here).
