Olympia Preview!

I’m curious what sort of physique Cutler will show up with. The way I see it, there are a few possible scenarios:
1-He surprises everyone again and manages to show up in his best ever shape, with superior structural size and is rewarded for it
2-He surprises everyone and shows up in amazing shape, but doesn’t get the O, as Heath, Kai and Rhoden have improved too much
3-He shows up looking damn good for a guy who lost his title twice, but still has a good showing and retires with his pride intact
4-He shows up looking like he should have retired already, and possibly damages his reputation

Im almost certain it will be 2 or 3. I’d like to see number one happen but at this point i just dont think its possible for him to get back into 2006 Jay Cutler shape.

He posts a lot of pics on facebook and he certainly still has the size of a top 6 Olympia competitor, if he nails his conditioning i wont be surprised if he takes third, but i cant see him beating Kai and Phil no matter what. At one point i think Cutler was most definitely better than Phil is now, but those days are history.

I hope option number 1.

My ideal placings would be 1) Cutler 2) Kai 3) Heath

It would make 2014 insanely competitive

Guess at 2 as he knows what to do, partly the O itself has moved on a bit in judging terms and even cutler at his best may not win now regardless, the bb judging changes over time

I think the deal with Rhoden is that he does have such great lines and really, it’s hard to find a fault on him…for anything.

He doesn’t have the arms of Heath or the freakishness of Kai, but I think people realize he looks better than both of them. [/quote]
I think it might just be an overall size thing, like he’s just not filled out enough to compare with the rest of the top lineup, but I’m not saying he should bulk up so much it detracts from his lines and makes him a “generic” competitor. Not to take anything away from him or sound derogatory, but Rhoden just doesn’t look like a guy who should’ve almost been labeled the best build in the sport.

I don’t think that he is the best based on the precedent that judges have set. Despite what anyone (including me) thinks about him, I think Kai is the best in the field for Mr. O although I am a huge Heath fan and could definitely see the case for him winning. With that said, Rhoden is the most appealing physique up there to me personally.

That would be cool.
I like Option 1

ya, would just be unreal if Cutler pulled it off and won it again and then retired like a boss

2014 Mr O would then be Heaths chance to step back up to former glory or fade into obscurity, Kai would be trying to get finally into numero uno after being 3rd, 2nd and 2nd and Wolf would win the 2014 Arnold Classic and gain enough momentum to be a viable top 3 threat
