Just wanted to publicly thank a fellow poster named “Older Lifter”. This man has made some of the most useful, logical, and constructive comments on this board and for that, he deserves recognition. So, in the utmost T-manly way, thanks, OL - and keep up the great work.
I agree 100%!
It’s also great to mention someone like Draper or Scott…or about the changes in bodybuilding over the years…and you can get some true insights…
Thanks, OL!
Absolutely and unquestionably one of the most solid and stalwalt individuals crusing the forum. Older lifter is a rarety indeed combining wisdom and patience, the sort of fellow who would guide a newbie to think for him/herself rather than browbeat them to the point of subsisting on FLEX and museltecccchh products for the remainder of their short, mildly productive experience in bodybuiding. Here’s to you Older, a T-man, who while he may not be getting any younger, could most likely fight a bear and do pretty well. Older, I hope that you will not mind my giving you an honorary title of official Yoda-Figure in JADABB united.

Good call Cam. He’s a right on guy, no B.S. I also think that there are a bunch of others as well. I’d say TEK, Patricia, Jason Norcross, Mufasa, Kelly B., Free Ex., KO, Michelle and of course Bill Roberts and Chris Shugart, just to name a few. All in all a very intelligent and helpful bunch. Where else could one find such a cool and though provoking atmosphere.
I will definitely raise a beer to OL tonight! Have always appreciated his input on the forum!
I agree Cam. Hey Shitdisturber you forgot me in your list of forum greats.
Oops. I mean you were a given that’s why I didn’t mention you, yeah that’s it, really. Thought I covered my butt with that “among others” line.
Heheh. Just bustin your balls.
What can I say, but thanks T-men and T-women. This is not the end of Older Lifter, but a new and short chapter (5 to 9 months). I will try an visit the forums as much as possible. But for now I am heading into the unknown.
Almost every military man (and lots of other people) have I love me walls. You know the wall where they display their awards and certificates. Of late my I love me wall only consist of the things giving to me by my troops for a job well done,(Example: As a Company Commander in the 101st, I have the first company with 100% high diplomas or GEDs, my troops knew that I though they were important, just like I think all of you are). I plan to print out this T-Tribute and hanging it on the wall. Thanks y’all.
Best of Luck.
Ya, it’s always nice to get the perspective of someone who has lived more years, seen more and experienced more than most of us. The voice of reason is always appreciated. Good luck in your new adventure.
Although I visit the T-Forum once a day, none of you heard of me. The reason, of course, lies in my selfishness. I read your posts, steal your wisdom and insights, and never return the favor by posting myself. Now I read that Older Lifter will be starting a new phase in his rich life and will not visit the forum on a regular basis. I have a problem with this. You see, there are only a few reasons why I visit the forum as much as I do. Older Lifter is one of them. OL, because you are leaving, so does my selfishness. I now post for the first time to say that you will be missed by every T-Man and T-Vixen of this forum, even by those you missed.
Just wanted to wish you all the best in your new occupation - I’m sure you’ll find the time and energy to train even when on the road so much. Wherever you end up, be sure to keep posting…let us know what you’re up to and how the training’s going. Good luck.
