There’s some fruit punch Surge Workout Fuel on ebay, except it’s marked up nearly 300% (110$) and would be coming from the UK
I have a full tub of the new formula but it’s just not the same. I’m trying (w/o success) to find a justification to pay a benji for a tub.
Does anyone else miss the old formula like I do? I was heartbroken after a moment of pure bliss spotting the old 1 lb container then seeing the price/location. Sucks.
Sorry for the rant. I’m raging b/c I’m putting together a big order for tomorrow.
I don’t miss the old formula as I am quite happy with the new formula, but miss the lemonade flavor. I wish it were an option with the new liquid flavoring.
What was the major difference in the old formula? I’ve never tried it but I’ve used the new one and I like it quite a bit. I also like the liquid flavoring, man the old stuff must have been truly awesome.
I got the original SWF when it came out and ordered probably 6-8 tubs before they switched to the new formula. I placed one order for the new stuff and did not like it nearly as much (taste wise, I thought it was delicious). havent ordered it since because I didnt see/notice the results like I did with the original. I really dont know why this is but I was a huge fan of the original product

If you were using the old, then switched to the new, You shouldn’t see “new results”. It would be a success unless you saw a performance decrease.
What results did you get from the old that you don’t get with the new?

For me it’s psychological b/c I dread tasting the new flavoring, where I loved the old fruit punch. If there was no difference I wouldn’t be trying to justify paying over 100$ a tub for it. I loved that shit.
oh yes, the lemonade flavor. i requested this when the liquid flavoring came out. ive grown accustomed to the orange flavoring (and honestly i look forward to it when i start training). however, it would be nice to have lemonade again…*hint hint *

This is correct.
The current formula is more potent than the original, so taste preference aside there’s no reason to use the original Surge Workout Fuel over the current version.

Honestly I don’t know what it was. I wasn’t looking for MORE results from the new formula but I wasn’t able to keep up the same intensity as when I was using the old stuff. I didn’t notice the same boost I got from the original Surge Workout Fuel when I was using the new stuff.
Hard to explain I guess. Felt awesome when using the original, didn’t feel the same when using the new stuff. That’s about as simple as it gets for me
^^^ Me too dog, It’s probably a mental thing for us though. I can stomache the fruit punch flavoring better than the new flavoring making me feel better when going balls to the wall. Thus giving me a better workout.
I’d look foward to drinking it the same way I do with original Surge Recovery.

You might just have gotten used to the effect of Surge Workout Fuel to the point where you don’t notice it anymore. I remember noticeable effects with Surge Workout Fuel, and then I started to not notice them the longer I took it. Last week I tried 2 MAG-10/1 ANACONDA instead of 1 MAG-10/2 ANACONDA, and I noticed a decrease in performance in my workouts. I switched back to the original ANACONDA Protocol 2 and there came my performance again. The thing is, when I was taking ANACONDA Protocol 2 in the first place for awhile (before switching to 2 scoops of MAG-10), I didn’t notice anything in my workout.
^^When I was taking Surge Workout Fuel I noticed a boost (actually I just noticed a lack of fatigue while working out) but I REALLY noticed the effects when I wasnt taking it. I experienced a big drop off in my training sessions.
When I used the new stuff I didnt notice the lack of fatigue feeling and when I stopped using it my workouts did not suffer. Maybe I had a bad couple tubs but I dont know.
Havent had ANACONDA or MAG-10 but would like to try them out eventually. I do love me some FINiBARs though
