Lol yea it does. Had a moment yesterday, and trying to have patience today lol.
Alfredo with schrimp!!!
On a different note got a call from my dad. Now my dad has never played a sport, never lifted a weight except for a little pre hab he does now for his hip. Grew up on a farm and still lives on an acre + carved out of the farm. Blue colar PA hick. 75 years old and is a pisser to say the least. He calls and says is the lifter ready to go next week cause coach is getting fired up. ha ha ha ha. He’ll be there holding smelling salts, chalk, etc. Watching the order of lifters and yelling. Now if that doesn’t just bring a smile to my face nothing will.
Todays work
BB roll outs 5x10
Hang leg raise 5x10
Foam roll
Stretch
Done!

How great that your meet is close enough that your dad can come help.
You can always dye your hair. And this coming from a woman who never dyes her hair.
And ice cream is the best. Lots o’ protein.

Meet venue,
Warm-up room was behind the lifting platform. Place was huge!
Pete here is my take on ZMA. When i sleep i sleep deeper and feel more rested. Nights I don’t sleep the ZMA doesn’t help me sleep if that makes sense?
Thanks for the info, I am taking something with similar effect. Last two nights I have crashed hard, where didn’t even stir until a.m. Rare for me.
Nice venue. Meet I did back in March was this enormous church, with a great big stage and large screen TVs all over the place, eletronic displays, etc, plus various food vendors, supplement companies etc.
What was really odd was the fact that a bunch of multiply freaks were squatting 1,000lb while Slayer, etc. was cranked, in a church.
And we had to keep reminding each other to watch our language.
Lol, i lifted in a lot of places but never a church! Sounds like you have a great venue, awesome.
Is the stuff you are taking helping you sleep or just helping you sleep deeper when you do?
just sleep deeper when I do. thinking I might shoot for the Jim Beam/Unisom stack on those other nights…
Vodka and gravol is another winning combination for sleep.
Am I confused or are you doing a meet in a week or so or are you coaching? I get confused easily so forgive me if you already covered this.
That’s awesome about your dad. It doesn’t matter how old we get, we still get fired up about our children right?
