Not sure if you’ve ever tried military press with Oly shoes before but the stability is nice! Maybe I’m trying a little to hard to lift in them but I paid $200 for the damn things, need to get more uses out of them. Tomorrow I’m mowing the yard with them on. (kidding)

Great avi dday. lol at that price they should mow the lawn wthout you!

That bar tracking is awesome stuff.

If you had two cameras we could see where the bar sits on all of your sets. It looks to me that you’re simply having to focus more on lifting your chest up as the weights get heavier. With the 405 you have no trouble but at 495 it just means you are working more. How close is that to your max?

Is that software expensive? It might be worth trying out to see how I track too.

You can download Kinovea. Google it. It’s totally free and does all that “tracking” malarkey.

That’s awesome! Great find farmer.

Today consisted of some stretching, tiger tail work, lacrosse ball rolling and i have a massage tonight.
Also been playing with a few stretches with bands. See pics

Second one

Thanks Farmer!

That is some hard core stretching there. I like the double band approach. Is that lower one an IT band stretch?

More of a hip flexor stretch. Back band is pulling leg to rear and front pulling hip forward, really opens up the hips joint. You can do a little pnf type stretch back into the band by tightening gluteand pulling back into the band. Same with the ham/glute on the first stretch, pull the leg down toward the floor.

Light upper today

Bench
225/3x5

Db row
3x6

db tri
2x10

Stretch
Body starting to freshen up a bit but still some lingering soreness from the last heavy week

Tried the ZMA last night and seems to have helped. Still woke up frequently but fell right back to sleep (usually doesn’t happen). Felt much more rested this am!

Interested to keep hearing how you like it. Right now my sleep is shit due to stress, might have to try the ZMA.

I’ll keep you posted. It either helped or i was so tired i just slept harder which happens every few days…lol. I’ll definitely know in the next few days which it was?
Hope your projects are going well in the basement.

That’s just smart! Really like PNF stretches but hadn’t figured a way to do them on my own.

Elitepro helped me sleep really well when I was taking it. Pretty sure it has ZMA in it so that’s probably why.

Thanks. Basement sidelined until this weekend, been focusing on dealing with my mom’s situation for the last week. Time to shift focus back to my fucked up house, lol.

Thanks dday, let me know how it works for you or how you tweak it.
I’ll have to look into Elitepro.

Lol.
I have been so lucky thus far with my parents but it’s hard living across the country from them when things do come up and i am an only child (aka spoiled brat haha). Luckily i have a HUGE family back there (ants. uncles, cousins etc)

ZMA I take just one now, after reading peoples comments. The “bigger guys” taking it went down to 2 so 1 should be enough for me. Im sure to take on empty stomach because the dreams are really crazy otherwise. Not sure what causes that.
