really? you’re gonna try to pull something like that? we make character determinations from shorter interactions from this on a DAILY basis.
How many times did the punk walk up to the front of the bus to the old guy?
Who struck who first?
Who got his ass handed to him and his face spread out on a bus seat, AND THEN muttered to the PERSON WHO WASNT THERE that hes gonna kill that nigger?
REALLY!?
you don’t want to make a character determination?
what kind of process would you want to go through, to make a character determination? sit down interview, hidden camera, buddy-for-a-day?
I personally prefer not to make character determinations based on isolated incidents such as this, when both parties are acting like children, because everyone (including myself) has moments when they have been big jackasses. If, however, I happen to interact with someone on a number of occasions, and the jackass behaviour seems to be par for the course, then that’s a different story.
It’s perfectly fine to make character determinations based on isolated incidents. Many times that’s all we get, and we have to act on it. As far as I’m concerned, everyone on Earth is a douche bag until they prove to me that they are NOT.
Do you date everybody you meet a number of times before deciding if you like them?
Everyone makes first impressions. However, if I end up interacting with someone more than once, I try to keep an open mind regarding what I think of them.
Obviously my opinion is not a popular one, which is fine. I’m going to agree to disagree, and leave it at that.

Listen, you and every other woman out there might take this the wrong way, and so will half the men out there too. Your opinion on THIS thread is not a popular one for a reason. While it may be perfectly feasible to take the time to get to know someone in a dating scenario, or in a friendly scenario, or in a business relationship, when it come to verbal and especially physical altercations, you just don’t have this luxury.
Being a woman, I doubt you have much experience with getting into fights, at least not the kind of fights that might end in death, and how to handle the situation. Your opinion just doesn’t count here, sorry. I’m a jerk for saying that, but only because the media has convinced most people that saying such sexist things is not nice, not because it’s not true.

And we have a winner.
It’s a lot easier to open your big mouth from the ouside looking in.
Guys get into fights.
Women spread rumors and talk and talk and talk.
I find that girls also make up a lot easier if it actually comes down to blows between them. A little hair pulling and scratching, and then hugs and im sorry’s afterward.

You have characterized people in the video as “Goons, children, liars, and simply trying to fuck the other guy up”.
Isolated incidences are what character is comprised of. If I have only one to go on, that’s how I consider that person. I guess you don’t believe interviews are fair.

You quoted me, so…
It’s cool… Mr. Veal hates everybody equally.
Damn, these remind me of the time my friend’s stepdad (golden gloves boxer when he was younger) went back home with his dad (former olympic boxer) to Chekoslovakia for a family visit…
They were walking home one night and a gang of teenagers approach them, circled them and started acting tough…
The two went back to back and decided they better make a spectacle out of at least one of them to try to deter the rest…
First kid charged in for a fight and promply had his nose imploded into literally nothing (you can imagine the reconstructive surgery required for that kind of fix) and the other took a right hook and got knocked out cold…
Two kids, one with no nose and the other out cold… The grandfather then said (in his native tongue) “Okay, who’s next?” and the gang then ran away…

You kidding right? Some of my closes friends are the ones Ive bumped heads with. When guys fight, thats the end of it. Thats the peak of where you can actually take the hatred and spite. Afterwards, men begin to respect each other and acknowledge that anything hard feelings have been crushed. Girls can take their hatred for each other into passive aggressiveness for years.

This is the truth. I agree me and my best friend of years came to blows once afterwards we had a beer. Regardless of one of your friends or not I do think guys get past it way quicker than girls. Sometimes there will be some hatred down there if it was a sticky situation, getting jumped etc., but for the most part its one and done. Girls will take that shit to the grave and kill you on the way.
