I think the key to Rblue’s post is that the old man lied. He never got punched in the face yet he used it as justification for the fight. It really doesn’t matter who said what fist. Both guys were complete douche bags.
I know “man law” is great and everything, but we also have actual law. In my opinion, the old man stopped right before the point of turning self-defense into aggravated assault.

We only see a short video clip of each of them, we don’t see how the whole altercation began, and we don’t really know anything more about either of them. From what we saw in the video, they both acted like jackasses. We can’t really make any further character determination from that one clip.

Yes they both acted like jackasses. But we can make a further character determination based on who attached who first. And that person that struck first is a much greater jackass and deserved the attacks, made out of self defense, that he received.
If the white guy started the trashtalking, then he deserved the trashtalking. But physical violence and self defense are on a totally different level.
“King Kong ain’t got nothing on me!!” I thought that was funny considering the circumstances.
They were both wrong In my opinion but the black dude never should of went after the white guy.
@Rblue…who are we to constitute what the old guy considers preserving ones life…we don’t know how the situation would of went if the old guy didn’t fight back. He really couldn’t of done anything else in that particular moment. He was already in the front of the bus…he was in a seat where he could’nt back up anymore plus they were in a confined area. They old guy had every right to fight and beat the shit out of the black guy after the black guy hit him. And you can’t say that the black guy didn’t hit him “hard enough” for the old guy to fight back…the black guy didn’t hit him hard enough the first time…the other times could of been a different story.
Grantite the old guy didn’t shut up…but hey freedom of speech babe…the black guy was saying whatever he wanted…why couldn’t the old white guy?
All in all I hope this video is posted everywhere and gets national attention so punks can see that its not gangsta to fuck with people.
